Not a huge amount about us in the Arse Mania match thread, with opinion evenly split between those who think Mourinho did a job on them and those who think it was all down to their defence.

I did like this post though, about their back three, which definitely fell into the latter camp...

Let's try this in the right thread...

"Looked at it again and kane is miles off... a distraction"

"Personally feel schmeichel should’ve made more of a fuss about Kane being in his line of sight there"

If Kane was in his sight, the ball would have passed him on his other side....

"Look like we playing 12 today...."

I thought the ref was good today bar the elbow?

Did they all miss the part where it came off their own player then, therefore cannot be offside regardless?

That rule only applies if the player makes an attempt to play the ball. I don't think you could make that case.

I'm sure Kane was offside before that, but either way he wasn't in the way of Kasper or making a move for the ball.

Kane is wide of the goal, so unless he stars outside of his right post, Kane isnt interfering.

Oh dear. On the OG, if there was anything it wasnt Kane in Schmeichel’s sight(which was reviewed by VAR), it was Son being offside

Playing 12 men?!?!? Really? Evans should have 3-4 yellows, one of which was easily a straight red. Jesus Leicester. The salt is ridiculous. You should have been down to 10. Get over yourselves.

VAR looked at it. Son was in our half when the ball was played. Right on the half way line! So couldn't be offside.

Two posts from Leicester fans. One exaggerates how poor he's been this season (but has a lovely turn of phrase). One exaggerates how great he's been against them over the years. But you sense from both how utterly, utterly pig sick they are at the sight of him. Long may it continue.

I hope Man Utd fans are happy at our result today - Jose always maintained he'd get them into the CL via their league position, time for the naysayers to wind their necks in.

Maybe, but I thought he let both teams away with fouls that could have been bookings.

Maybe, but he got his yellow out for Evans, Evans walked off as if he knew, then he bottled it and just put it back and let Evans stay on. Didn't understand that at all.

Given the Norwich guy was sent off for the same thing a day or two before, it's even more baffling he wasn't sent off.

Put it in the same box as the elbow on Sonny against Sheffield United. That's a minus 10 now for VAR calls.

If 23 goals (+10 for england) is going missing for a season then I hope he keeps going missing.

Had a look at the usually poisonous-towards-us FT but found some sane stuff:

Spurs "Leicestered" us, but im pretty sure we won the possession stats

Absolutely we did, it was a fine example of our winning season when we'd regularly win with only 30% possession. If Rodgers models himself on Mourhinio as felt by some, he's got a bloody long way to go and I doubt he'll ever get anywhere near. He's a one trick pony.

Spurs are just difficult for us. With Son and Kane upfront, we needed Soy to play instead of Bennett but unfortunately Soy was out, so not BR’s problem. I wouldn’t blame BR for the lost, as I do think we played good football at times (except for last 10 mins when we gave up trying to pull a goal back). But I do feel that we could do much better this season if BR reacted much earlier in Feb/Mar by changing formation and playing more round pegs through round holes.
The critical point was the early goal, which was unlucky for us. That suited Mourinho’s teams as he can then just sit back even more and wait for the counter, especially with our slower CBs.

We were Leicestered and got our tactics wrong.
We're beginning to sound like Spurs, "but we had more shots and possession..."
Remember how we reacted to that kind of talk?
