Just logged in to my online account as a Silver Season ticket holder (block 139) and clicked the Chelsea game and it has allowed me to purchase a seat of my choice in the upper tier as a friend would like a ticket. It then assigns the ticket to my membership number.

How does this work? My membership number is already assigned to my season ticket in block 139. If I assign this seat and buy the ticket in the upper tier I presume it will be sent as a paper ticket as I will need my membership card to get into block 139.

Any advice will be greatly received.

I have found the following from ispurs reference guest tickets:

One Hotspur members

As a One Hotspur member, you will need to bring your stadium access card with you on match day in order to gain entry into the stadium. Please present this card at the turnstile and the steward will scan your card for entry.

If you have purchased any guest tickets you will be sent paper tickets in the post for them to use on matchday.

Hope this helps

different point but anyone had any news on the Newcastle game allocation yet? Sounds like the ticket office is in a complete mess over loyalty points!

How many games are we going to sell out I wonder? All the European ties and derbies/top 6?

Bit optimistic given that we've only sold around 50,000 for the chelsea game.

I'd argue, given how spurs have fucked us over pricing at wembley that no game will sell-out

No way that's true. We've sold all the lower tier and 99% of the middle tier which are 50,000 on their own. I think we're on somewhere around 65,000 round now and I'm confident it'll sell out. They are gonna have real problems for the lower-profile matches though. Cup ties should be okay, since we'll surely just go £5 a ticket or something if it's Carlisle on a Tuesday night, but the league is another matter.

They've fucked us over how? The tickets are the same price for equivalent seats as they were last season?
People need to get a fucking grip, we have to pay to play at Wembley so no price increases is as good as a discount.

People would expect lower prices when the capacity is literally treble what we had last season. Even with the rent we'll be making much more from ticket revenue unless we fuck up and don't sell out most of the time. If we'd cut STs by £100 and matchday tickets by £5 it would have generated a fair amount of goodwill, hardly cost an unaffordable amount and may well have generated more revenue if it got more fans going.

There's no way any team is going to lower ticket prices. It's just not going to happen.

(From 2015)

"West Ham have become the first club to announce they will reduce season ticket prices as a result of the Premier League's record television deal.

Sky and BT Sport have paid £5.13bn for live Premier League television rights for three seasons from 2016-17.

West Ham's cheapest adult season ticket that season will cost £289, down from between £620 and £940 for the 2014-15 campaign.

All season tickets for under-16s will be cut to £99"

Their fans are all pissed that their stadium has been knocked down and replaced with a rented running track.
Thankfully we're not in that situation, but it's not the point. We can afford, easily, to give something back to the fans at this point. By charging effectively the same prices as last year, fans are now getting worse value for money. We're further from the pitch, the food and drink is extortionate, many face long and expensive journeys, and the club seemingly refuse to recognise this or let us share in the benefits they get from the bigger ground. To be honest it's not on and if they think they'll regularly fill the stadium with this strategy I reckon they've got another thing coming.

Was it 11 million rent for the stadium?

Honestly don't get this long journey thing it's up the road,be thankful it's not MK dons. And for every person that has a longer journey someone else has a shorter journey.Yes of course it's not WHL but on pure state of the facilities as in toilets choice of food outlets there no question Wembley is a better facility. Also everyone moaning about lack of signings gs(which I'm sure will be addressed) yet want to actually give the club less money, really not sure how that works. We have a new stadium round the corner. Its hardly the biggest hardship to play a season at one of the best football stadiums in the world.would have loved to seen reaction if we had to ground share for a year. The club did incredible well to get the best possible outcome in our year away.To have to pay same price is totally fair imo.

I agree Wembley was absolutely the best option, but it's still not great. Very few people have shorter journey times since most have to go to central London to get there anyway even if it's a shorter distance than the Lane for them geographically. Meanwhile someone living in Tottenham would take more than an hour extra to get there and the same (or more with the queues) coming home again.

More than anything else the pricing just doesn't make sense. Let's take Bournemouth at home last season. The last game to use the ballot system, and one of the last ever to be played at the Lane - for those who didn't have the loyalty points for Arsenal or United tickets, the last ever chance to see us there. We had 15,781 applications from members. Many of those are now Season Ticket Holders, but even ignoring that you're looking at an attendance of 60,000 maximum when you add in ST holders and away fans. The idea we'll get 90,000 or anywhere close to it with full-price tickets on a weekly basis seems massively unrealistic, whereas if e.g. the whole of the upper tier was £20 a pop we probably would. You'd have around the same revenue (30,000 extra sales making up for each being cheaper), but fans would be happier and you'd be encouraging a new generation to go to the games. It's an absolute no-brainer and I can only assume that with our recent success the board's taken on false delusions that we somehow have the pulling power of Manchester United rather than Tottenham Hotspur.

The new stadium season ticket is most likely gonna be more expensive.Theres no way they could have reduced this season. The leap then in price to new stadium would have seemed even greater.I think you'll be surprised imo we will sell out virtually all EPL games.Burnley will be the 1st true marker,so we will know soon enough.

Chelsea's been on general sale for a few days now and it isn't remotely close to selling out. We'll see what happens but right now I don't know where 30,000+ people who didn't particularly want to go to matches last season are suddenly going to come from.

You can only buy a ticket if you're signed up. It's not really general sale.

I reckon by the time the match kicks off it'll be at 80k ish
