You can only buy a ticket if you're signed up. It's not really general sale.

I reckon by the time the match kicks off it'll be at 80k ish
There's hardly a load of people who've literally not been to a Tottenham game since online ticketing came in who suddenly want to buy tickets for £35+ on a weekly basis.

My dad and brother haven't bought tickets for decades.
I’ve had to sign dad up for a lillywhite membership, arrange his DD and buy him a ticket for Chelsea.
Will probably have to do the same for my brother next season, he was very anti Wembley this season.

The new stadium season ticket is most likely gonna be more expensive.Theres no way they could have reduced this season. The leap then in price to new stadium would have seemed even greater.I think you'll be surprised imo we will sell out virtually all EPL games.Burnley will be the 1st true marker,so we will know soon enough.

We can't even sell out Chelsea home. The only way we were ever going to sell out is if they incentivised it by making the tickets cheaper. They chose not to and as a result we'll be playing in a half empty stadium, and they'll make less money.

For general sale you don't need a membership, just a login. All games this season will go to general sale. Only difference is no loyalty points and delayed access to tickets after members have purchased.

I know how it works
The last time my dad bought tickets was before the internet. He doesn't own a computer or smart phone or know how to use them.
I'm sure there's a lot of people who just don't bother registering because if even lillywhite members can't guarantee a seat (WHL) why even bother?

(From 2015)

"West Ham have become the first club to announce they will reduce season ticket prices as a result of the Premier League's record television deal.

Sky and BT Sport have paid £5.13bn for live Premier League television rights for three seasons from 2016-17.

West Ham's cheapest adult season ticket that season will cost £289, down from between £620 and £940 for the 2014-15 campaign.

All season tickets for under-16s will be cut to £99"

doubt they had much of a waiting list and was the only way they would get close to selling out. no way in hell would they have sold the amount of tickets if they put them even close, which would of meant selling tickets for a tenner via adverts on talksport

A lot is going to depend on how well we're doing... have a season like the last one, and there will be plenty of people fighting to get tickets. If it starts to look like it's going wrong expect a much emptier stadium and some 'special deals' to start appearing - there aren't many of those category 4 tickets at the moment - that price band could easily end up being the whole upper tier if needed

Got 4 tickets today (for Chelski) on general sale, I'm sure it will sell out but there's a few tickets left. The lower category games are fairly reasonably priced so will probably be making a few trips to the capital this season :)

Slightly OT, but Need some suggestions for parking.

Last season was a nightmare getting to Wembley by car, so this season we are looking at driving from Essex into London and getting the tube to Wembley.

Any suggestions on where to park would be greatly appreciated.

As its a Sunday there's loads more free options, but Harrow on the Hill is very easy, two stops to Wembley. Drive round the north circular, sat nav to Harrow through Alperton... or Kingsbury, Stanmore on the jubilee line are ok on Sundays. On Saturdays both are pretty shite

think two factors are at play here, holibobs, and live tv. Think we'll have big crowds all season, providing we're in and around the top four...

If we do fall away, the fair weathers will likely stay away...

Depends what you consider 'sold out', currently the back 10 rows of the East Stand top tier are closed, this may be true of the West too, but I'm not sure. Unless the club decide to open those between now and the game, 'Sold Out' will relate only to the seats actually available to buy, not the seats available to be sat on inside Wembley.

My son and I are both members and we would have been going to the Chelsea game if we weren't away on holiday.

hopefully you'll catch it on the box somewhere, we've got a nightflight back hopefully with no delays, a quick change at base then off to the tube- don't think Hazard will be back so more optimistic than usual

There's no green blocks on the availability map anymore.
By kick off this'll be sold out bar a few sporadic seats.
As I've said, half of a number of to tier blocks haven't been opened for sale yet, so some more tickets might appear... Or not, in which case I wouldn't call it a sell out.

Do you know which blocks are not opened for sale yet, I just tried block 518 second last row (27) and they are for sale?
