Has to be Cudicini surely? He came expecting to replace Gomes (!) but never will while Gomes is fit.

I don't think Cudicini has been that good since he's come (aside from the odd brilliant save here and there), but don't really want James either.

Pletikosa, Croatia's goal keeper, said himself (reliable sources) that he had loan deal already arranged with Spurs for a year, and then he got injured (six months out) just before all paperwork was about to be done.
So, for some reason it seems that Harry might be really looking for another keeper.

POTL record is immense so you can probably take that to the bank, David James at Tottenham, I can't say I ever forsore that.

Wonder who the one other is now Sandro is looking unlikely

i would be very happy with James!! Makes far less clangers than he used to, is positive and has saved his teams so many points over the years! I am not sure who i prefer out of him and Gomes but think the pair of them would be class!! Cudicini for me isnt what he once was - was very disappointed with him yesterday

Think he inspires a lot more confidence than Gomes.

Gomes always looks shaky...I dont think Harry has much faith in him tbh and neither do I.

Having said that James is pretty much the same story....I think Carlo is the best of the three but he is getting on.

Yeah, I have to say I felt we had the best back-up keeper in the league in Cudicini, until his recent performances. Maybe failing to unseat Gomes has shaken his confidence a bit. He used to think, "Well nobody is better than Petr Cech," but now he's second choice to Gomes.

But I can't see James being happy as a back-up either. And he did stay at Pompey long after the others had left. But we might as well pick him up and maybe give him a coaching role as well. Just as long as he doesn't do hair consultations. The lads are confused enough already without adding mustaches into the mix.

does POTL know who the other player is? or just saying that there should be one more? I hope its kranjcar. Cant believe he is still battling for them. Working his socks off even though he could easily get into most of the teams in the top-half of the table.

what a bizzare move, just a dodgey as gomes but with less ability, and alot older

I would like Kranjcar but if POTL is saying only one more, rather than just one more that he is aware of, then we would be very short in the centre of midfield, need at least one more cm IMO.

Cudicini walked straight off the pitch at the end yesterday didn't celebrate, speak to or even acknowledge anyone, as he was walking across a ballboy gave him a bottle he carried on walking got to the touchline flung it down and walked straight down the tunnel, he didn't seem too pleased to me so either he wasn't happy about the game or maybe he's heard smething.

An absolute flipping disgrace if calamity comes in to replace Gomes. That would be a HUGE step backwards!!!

James missed todays game because of 'bruising', Paul Hart's post match interview seemed to suggest he is on is way out of Fratton Park.

Yes, add James, Krancjar, Belhadj - have I missed anyone there? The joy of becoming Pompey Mark II. Very progressive it would be...not.
