Walker had a shocker? Didn't see that at all. No one had a shocker just all below par.

Maybe Shocker is a bit too strong. He def had an off day for the whole game. He was a weak link that Man U exposed.

Maybe i'm just used to how good KW usually is. He lost Rooney for the goal, completely lost his focus. I noticed beforehand that Rooney had Walker all over the place on set pieces. Yes I know it's Rooney and his movement is world class but KW could have done a lot better. He's also used to having Parker mopping things up.

Oh well, next game will be a win i'm sure. FA Cup and 3rd please. :) COYS!

Well he did have a part to play in all 3 of their goals! Let Rooney go from the corner, cocked up his clearance when he should have used his left foot, setting up Young's volley, then he lost Young for the 3rd and let him drift inside whilst he marked no one.

I wonder why Walker was given Rooney to mark. He'll probably learn from it but it seemed odd to me.

I felt it was Modric who made the mistake for the 2nd goal. The third goal was no one closing down Young. The first I am doing a Wenger.

Walker went from being our best player at Arsenal to our worst against United.

I did wonder about that as well....
maybe because he is a defender and rooney is a striker. im pretty sure the big guys would have been marking their big guys in and around the box. (jones, ferdinand, evans and co.)

Bit harsh on Walker. Frankly if we're looking for anyone to blame for their first goal then it should be Sandro who gave away the needless foul that led to it.

But frankly we were outclassed by a better team, in the same way we have been for pretty much every game we've played against them in the last 10+ years.

It didn't help that we had key players out either.

The scoreline wasn't terrible either, Utd beating us by a 2 goal margin, even at WHL, is not an unnaceptable thing - unlike the Arsenal result from our previous game.

To be fair, and I think Young is a good player, but his form did dip since september. I didn't think he was that good yesterday until he scored his first. He second was brilliant and a goal from someone who has renewed confidence.

I wonder why Walker was given Rooney to mark. He'll probably learn from it but it seemed odd to me.

I saw Jenas leaning towards Redknapp, whispering, pointing at Walker, pointing at Rooney and then turning away and laughing, while Redknapp nodded vigorously Eek
