I don't think Bisping could have asked for a bigger/better title defense

Who has everyone got then?

Wonderboy vs Woodley - Wonderboy for me

Khabib vs Ferguson - I'm really undecided on this 1 but I think Khabib will do it

I really want Wonderboy to win

On the evidence of the first fight I suppose the fact he finished relatively strongly could suggest he figured Tryon's style out and will be able to time him and land frequently against him while avoiding the bombs that will come back his way

If I had to bet though I'd go with Tyron using his wrestling more and changing levels between the big punches and the quick powerful shots to take the fight to the ground. The first fight showed that if Tryon lands he will do major damage and it's a big ask to avoid that bomb for 5 rounds

Equally if Thompson avoids throwing kicks again for fear of being taken down and dominated as he was in the first then he's going to be blunting his arsenal significantly because his array of kicks are his best weapons I think, but then if he goes for broke and tries to land his kicks he will reduce his base of support and be open to a take down (and probably just get dominated and lose the fight)

Interesting fight

As for Khabib and Tony - I really want Tony to win, I love the way he fights but I think Khabib will be too strong with his take downs and ground game (although Fergusson has a dangerous 10th planet style off his back so will present dangerous Khabib is not used to once in his favoured ground and pound mauling range)

If I have to predict (which I am reluctant to commit to because they're both excellently matched fights) I'd go for Woodley and Khabib to be victorious

Woodley and Ferguson for me.
Tyron is really fired up and I think he will either knock him out or it will be a stoppage.
Ferguson's all round game is better than Khabib and Ferguson is very strong on the ground. I watched the Khabib vs Tibau fight this week, I know it was a long time ago but he couldn't take Tibau down and he looked devoid of ideas.
Ferguson is an unpredictable and innovative fighter.

Looks like Khabib and Ferguson could be off.Khabib taken to hospital before the early weigh ins due to his weight cut I would of thought. This is disappointing if true been looking forward to this fight since it was announced first time around.

Hmm I hope not but it's not looking good his manager has refused to comment on the report. I hope Khabib is ok but it's very careless of him and his team if true.

Reports I heard suggested Khabib had to have iv fluids after having a tough time of making the weights

But the fight would go ahead with only Ferguson being eligible for the interim title as a result

Karen Bryant tweeted the same thing but stressed it was not official and just what she had heard

I understand fighters get injurys and fights get cancelled but to have to be pulled due to a weight cut is unacceptable.Love Khabib as a fighter but he can have no complaints about being overlooked for a title shot now he has proved you can't rely on him.

Khabib is going to get savaged by Tony for this.
And by Conor for sure

Gotta do a Fergurson vs Diaz fight soon if they don't go ahead and reschedule this one

Big miss for the card but looking forward to Thompson vs Woodley. I want Wonderboy to win but think Woodley will get it done.

Hmm I don't reckon Diaz will take the fight, I think for him it's Conor or nothing.

Ferguson's response was awesome, the guy is a real class act.
Yep it was a great response when everyone was expecting him to go the other way and tear into Khabib really hope Tony gets his title shot against Connor he deserves it.

Ferguson said the reason he turned down a last min replacement fight with MJ was because the UFC wanted to reduce his purse and take the interim title off the table

Piss take

Sucks that it was cancelled but i still but the bullet and spent the 60 bucks. Woodley/Thompson 2 will be worth it. 1 was one of the fights of the year, if not the fight of the year, last year. If this is even half as good its worth it tbh

On the plus side, McGregor/Diaz 3 now should come up before a unification or title bout. And that fight right there is the money fight. This should be done 213 or 215. 213 is apparentky during a 3 event fight week in Vegas and that could bring more views for the other fights if the week was billed correctly. 215 could be another option because that would bring 2 huge money PPV's in a row as in all likelihood, GSP/Bisping will be at 216, which is apparently in Canada. I guess they could do it at 217 also.
