Cowboy has looked great since Danger was born. He's been massively remotivated but as his record shows he always comes up short against the very best fighters. I expect him to lose here again but if for any reason Conor has dropped from that elite level then Cerrone will expose that.

Not really been into UFC. Which considering I LOVE martial arts is a little odd. I guess I find hitting them when they're down Is a little...uncouth maybe? Anyways, saw a really good bio doc on Bruce Lee - "I am Bruce Lee" on Sky Arts. Well worth a watch.

Really looking forward to the fight! Shame it’s PPV...

It will be on BT Sport for free if you just wait a week (y). The undercard is being shown live for free anyway.

With many sports it would be impossible not to hear the result somewhere but with MMA it's usually just a matter of not opening this thread until you've watched the fight .

There are plenty of fighting styles based around fighting off your back or being on the ground. For some it's a massive advantage. You just aren't used to it probably.

If you like bruce lee you could look up some muay thai fights (all standing). Then maybe transition to some mma.

I practiced both judo and karate, getting to a high level in both, so I get the advantages of fighting o the floor, I meant hitting them after a KO.

Hitting when down/out isn’t real sport, that’s the issue. The arts on display are to be admired though. It’s a tough game no doubt.

MMA has quite a large following of bloodlust fans, strange types. Those who moan about fighters not standing up etc, it’s like they don’t really understand what is going on. These types tend to want to swallow McGregors plums too.

McGregor should win but he’s probably one of the most overrated fighters I’ve seen in any sport. He’s good of course, but he spent most of his career enjoying huge physical advantages over opponents and having the powers that be give you every opportunity going helps too ( makes sense though given his draw )

Isn’t there rumours of a Pacquiao fight for him? That’ll really hurt. I can’t see Manny not bothering to train and carrying him for round after round like Floyd did. Good for the bank balance though! He’s a very, very average ( below average ) boxer.

He would be eaten alive by any decent pro boxer, he beat up an aged out of shape Malignaggi in practice and thinks he can run boxing not a hope. You are correct about the size difference he was smashing the 145 division as he was far bigger you could see when he fought, khabib and diaz his power was not as fierce. I get Masvidal is trying to draw McGregor into fighting him by saying he is too much man for him but in honesty he would embarrass McGregor.

Even then it was carefully edited footage of him vs Paulie. The British champ at whatever weight McGregor would fancy fighting at would decapitate him.

Is this whole card just to show conor what’ll happen if he faces khabib again? All its been is just ground and pound.

Make no mistake despite the theatrics and the big mouth, Conor is a dangerous fighter. So many good potential fights in this division. Masvidal, Usman and Covington all fights I'd love to see happen.
