Last night was a perfect time to chuck him on for Lucas (who was running on empty) for the last 10/15 minutes. No pressure, just try him out.

While I somewhat agree, Lucas can still produce a bit of magic as late as the 96th minute. You can see why you’d keep faith with the senior striker.

i think troy has to play some minutes jose is not going to have much choice we cant risk lucas getting injured also think clarke should be an option instead of going on loan and sess can play as awforward

Mourinho has already categorically stated Sess isn’t a forward as far as he’s concerned.

It appears that Jose is making a bit of a point about Troy and now probably doesn't like to think he might be proved wrong. I think it will take even worse injury problems for him to select Troy this season.

I am a bit annoyed that Mourinho is being so negative about our squad and lack of resources. In a 4-3-3 we'd have plenty of cover in all positions, maybe not like for like quality everywhere but cover all the same:

Midfield 3 from 8 (3 from 7 after injuries):
Ndombele, Gedson, Sissoko, Winks, Dier, Skipp, Lo Celso, Lamela

Forward 3 from 7 (3 from 5 after injures):
Moura, Bergwijn, Kane, Dele, Parrott, Son, Sessegnon

So last night we could have played:

Ndombele Winks Lo Celso
Moura Dele Bergwijn

And brought on 3 fresh 'attacking' players:
Lamela for Ndombele after 60/70 minutes.
Parrott for Dele.
Sessegnon on for Moura or Bergwijn (depending on who was more 'exhausted' after a week off).

I’m surprised they didn’t photoshop Sterling into those pictures.

Anyway, a couple games without us scoring and Parrott will have to start playing.

Is that not a bit odd ?Players not involved usually sit by the dugout.
He was in the development squad seats.

Players who are in the first team but not in the matchday squad can sit next to the dugout or get friends and family tickets. But given he's not been training with the first team, he can only get development tickets right now.

How is that even news? Typical of The Sun, subjecting an 18yr old to negative headlines for absolutely no reason. Some things never change
Just because it’s in the Sun doesn’t make it news. It’s a rag, not a newspaper.

It absolutely is a rag but the story itself confirms what has been reported elsewhere is that the lad keeps questionable company.

Over here there has been talk that England was the best place for him to get away from such individuals.

But that’s the slight mystery because he’s been with senior squad for most of the season and virtually every CL matchday. Also pretty sure he was in the dugout seats when Bergwijn scored and ran on the pitch.

That’s why I moved over. No drug dealing criminal types over here.
