We paid £13 million each for both Eriksen and Toby roughly. Was Rose through the academy? And £20m for serge? Should get £30m back from rose and serge. It all depends on how you look on it, £30m loss on 4 players over the amount of time they’ve been here isn’t that bad really, but the fact they need replacements is the issue. The club or levy can’t be blamed for players not signing new deals.

Wont happen. With Lucas and Son I can't see Poch wanting another tricky wide player. Then that would make the Jack Clarke signing even more ridiculous.

Happy to see VdV with our best interests in mind though.

I actually think a DM should be our very next signing. If the best DM we have at the club is Winks then it doesn't really matter who we have in at CB we will continue to ship goals against everyone. Obv CB are going to need to be brought In a's well, and a RB and another AMC when Eriksen leaves. But first should be a DM in my opinion.

Thomas Partey from Atletico would be my first choice and he has a relatively low buyout clause compared to others. Would be perfect for us in the DM position.

I’m fairly confident that Zakaria is more of a B2B player rather than a defensive midfielder. He plays paired with a DM in Kramer, from what I’ve seen.

Wondered that myself, when in form he's a great player, can drift in and out of form but would be a fairly decent player for us I imagine. Wages will be difficult.
