With Lloris decline in performance and his injury now, maybe it's time to go shopping for a new keeper come January?

Prefered RB for me would be Meunier, but it looks like PSG are ready to offer him an new contract soon.
Other players I would like to add is, Layvin Kurzawa, Julian Draxler, Dayot Upamecano, Alexander Nubel and Arkadiuz Milik. Although Milik has declined a bit since his serious injury a couple of seasons ago, I think he would make a good addition. Tall, strong player

We've been here before haven't we with getting our hopes up for a good transfer window and ending up being disappointed. After spending a good amount in summer and with very few of our players actually able to command a decent fee because contracts are expiring then can't see us doing too much in January but hopefully wrong..

We'll be stockpiling a load of shite like Jarrod Bowen, to prepare us for life in the Championship next year

All we ever hear is about how difficult it is to sign top quality players in January as clubs are reluctant to sell mid season or they raise the price...why will this January be different

I find it hard to believe we’ll be able to sign top quality defenders. Would love to be wrong though!

Davies wasn't in the same window as the other three.

Yeah your right. Just the other three. The summer before it was Davies, Dier, Fazio.

So on that basis it’s going to take a good couple of windows to bring in the required defence. That’s if our scouting is even as good as back then. And the manager wants them of course.

Yes has to be a positive. Poch has already mentioned January as a time to find some solutions and surely Levy can see that without some serious investment, there is a huge chance we will miss out on the top 4. We quite possibly may have no chance of finishing top 4 come January anyway.

The problem is, January is notoriously difficult for signing players, clubs will see our need to sign players so it is only going to be even harder to sign the players we want.

January is a great time for us to sign players imo.
we all know it takes a while for players to get used to Pochettino training methods and fitness regime.
So at least this way the new guys in January will be at full speed come the start of next season

With regards to the defence, I guess a lot depends on how highly the club rate Sanchez, Tanganga and Foyth and if they see the latter as becoming a CB, or a RB/DM.

If they see them as first team players, then I think it's more likely they will go for a more experienced CB (around 24-26 years old), rather than another young player?

Whatever we do, we need to make sure we sign at least one very good CB, regardless of their age.
