Poch is blaming the fans now. Surely if he think we're the problem and not him or the players then it's over.

We booed at half time which I don't think was unreasonable. We were muted at times but hardly hurt the team.
The fans have a major part to play, booing the team isn't going to help. I remember when we were really shit we had excellent supporters home and away.

“The atmosphere was not in the way you love to play. I understand why though.

I have to say in the last 20 minutes our fans were amazing and pushed us on.”

like everything he contradicts himself

I think he meant at the start of the game, the video of the presser he says the last 20 mins we were great or something like that

Today was the first time I've heard genuine discontent from fans at the match towards Poch.
I'd had it today, I normally address my comments to those I attend the match with, today I expressed my frustration with Poch's tactics, team selection, substitutions and ethos.
To my mind we’ve been poor since Wolves came from behind to beat us at Wembley, then the wheels have fallen off. The run to CL final just papered over the cracks.

However, I thought we would start afresh this season but it is the same crap as we’ve had since January. As I’ve said before I think it’s combination of factors and overall I’ve been more in favour of shifting out the players that don’t want to be here than the best manager we’ve had in my lifetime. However,I do think he’s lost half the dressing room and it appears players like Harry, Son, Lloris (who I thought would be pro-Poch) are not outing the ones that don’t want to be there and pulling them up which looks bad news.

That said, I’m sick of a different formation / system and personnel every week. No wonder the players look confused and timid. This rotation is bollocks, Liverpool pretty much play the same team every week and they play more games than us! Playing 3 CBs at home to Watford is ridiculous as is playing 2 holding midfielders at Colchester. These decisions are on Poch and I don’t know how he justifies it! I don’t see us winning on Tuesday and only hope we don’t get humiliated by Liverpool. I don’t expect Levy to sack Poch but I now don’t think he can turn it around.
Wolves was the turning point, on the day you think it's just a bad day at the office, since then our league form has declined game on game, the CL run masked a lot of stuff and even that run was down to a VAR decision and Lucas throwing off the shackles of Poch stifling any creativity or individualism. Ever since we've adopted the risk averse football we've been dreadful and don't get me started on playing out from the back when teams are playing a high press.

real Madrid are losing away from home again so Zidane could be on his way soon enough which could well get Levy out of this sticky position he finds himself in with not wanting to pay poch off and also trying to save some element of face. I can't believe I'm actually hoping this scenario happens, never thought I would want him gone but enough is enough. He's lost the players and unfortunately looks like even the likes of Kane isn't doing it for him so for me the time is up.

Watching static players moving the ball with zero tempo backwards and sideways will never get the supporters on side. It’s too easy to criticise the fans but I don’t buy it. The players need to ignite the crowd (even if it’s with a crunching tackle) but I saw nothing today to do that as the football once again was utterly dire.
Even in the 90’s when we were shit we had “bums off seats” players who were given licence to play. This team is playing with the shackles on from what I’m seeing

I really don't like the way he's blaming the atmosphere.

We've been playing dull unimaginative football for months.

If anything he should praising the fans for tolerating it for so long, and apologising for letting it continue.

At the stadium you get the support you deserve. People on the internet go back and forth all the time, but once you start losing the fans at your own ground then you know you're in deep shit.

So I wonder if Levy did sack Poch and his staff, who do we have that would be caretaker manager if needed? I imagine and hope he would take all his staff with him.

I agree during the game it's counter-productive but at HT I won't hurt reminding the players why they are there.

It’s quite obvious this formation isn’t working. Kane looked mustard at No.10 for England midweek (albeit against terrible opposition). We seem quite capable of playing “the Liverpool way” with 4 at the back, any combination of Tanguy, Winks, Dier, Alli, Mouse (depending on the opposition and Son, Lucas and Kane upfront. Kane can lead the line or pull strings from a deeper No.10 role with pace on the flanks...... Why do we persist?

They have 18 points after 9 games which is nowhere near what Perez would expect after the level of investment and couple that with the mauling they got against a PSG missing their biggest names and I think he he's under a lot pressure.

Madrid taking poch would solve Levy's big headache as to what to do now

These days they announce the next guy in 30 mins. It's sort of a good time because there are good candidates free and available

To me it's so absolutely clear that Poch has had enough of us and the players have had enough of him.

But let's be honest, Poch and his coaching stuff aren't going to resign.

I can't see Levy pulling the trigger either - genuinely believe Levy thinks he's as good as a manager we could hope for with everything he's done for the club in the last few years.

Also can't see Levy allowing Poch to spend big in January to rebuild, getting rid of players we couldn't in the summer etc...

So where the fuck does this leave us?!

Total mess.

Went to the game today,I’m not saying I want poch to stay but the effort and commitment shown by the players today (bar lamela) was an absolute embarrassment
