Norris and Piastri are really going about business in that McLaren. Talented drivers, a team that seems to work well with them and the car's looking in good shape.
McLaren are the Tottenham of F1.

Rich history, competitive despite lacking the funds of the big teams, yet, not quite able to compete at the very top, easy to like drivers.

You already know there’s team orders already in for Perez to let Max take the lead into turn 1. Max will win by 20 seconds & Perez will be about a further 30 ahead of the McLaren or Ferrari. Mercedes probably finish around a minute 40 off & be lucky to get in the points. That car is probably marginally better than Red Bull’s minor league team. Could be a battle for the points between them & VCARB.

F1 is so unserious. They’d already changed the regulations to halt the dominance a few times by this point during Mercedes run. Yet they let RB just continue to run rampant over the field to the detriment of the product.

I lied. I stayed up… only to watch Albon single handedly destroy the Williams team (with a bit of help from Ricciardo)

They already put Sergeant in Albon’s old chassis, and now Albon has wrecked the only remaining good chassis until the Miami GP. Could be another decision on drivers for the Chinese GP in a couple of weeks.

Surely, the end of Ricciardo's F1 career is nigh... Alonso and Hülkenberg are veterans still going strong, but Ricciardo is the very definition of a has-been.
RB is the development team of Red Bull - time to make way for Liam Lawson...

I think Danny Ric had more to do with that than Albon did. Being honest here, if you are Williams it isn't much of a debate if you have only 1 chassis. You go with Albon.

American driver Logan Sargent, an American, is a fine American but Williams need to make sure they have a car that has a chance of finishing ahead of someone and American driver Logan Sargent, A GREAT AMERICAN DRIVER, is going to have to sit out a race even if that means AMERICAN DRIVER Logan Sargent, AN AMAZAING AMERICAN ROLE MODEL and an example of being AMERICAN to ALL AMERICANS!, doesn't race in China. But don't worry AMERICAN driver Logan Sargent will not be intimidated by the Chinese people and will show the true strength of AMERICA by being an AMERICAN driver who does what is best for Williams by letting Albon drive AMERICAN driver Logan Sargent's car that is specially tailored for AMERICAN driver Logan Sargent's unique AMERICAN-ness, truly showing show great AMERICAN driver Logan Sargent is and what a fine role model he is to all the would be F1 fans in AMERICA!....PS buy tickets to Las Vegas, Miami and Austin!!! AMERICA! <eagle screech>

Seriously though, Logan has put his car off the track what....5 (6?) times in 4 racing weeks, (only 3 of which he could actually race in) crashed 5 times last season (at an estimated cost of $4m) and has recorded 1 career point. You give the car to Albon and hope Logan doesn't develop a drinking problem. It's the only chance you have at closing any space with Haas at the moment (what an amazing statement to make after the past couple years).

I imagine at some point Alpine will decide that their car upgrades of, i don't know....putting lead in their chassis?....aren't working and figure out how they can improve their car to finish ahead of Williams and Haas in a race or two. Stake may have to piece together how to keep their cars from falling apart and how to do pit stops faster than 10 seconds before their tractors can challenge anyone

Also, credit to Yuki. He is quick in that car, he may fly off the handle but he does seem to get the most out of his ride, wonder how he will fare once RB pull Danny Ric's ride for Lawson.

Alonso re-signs with Aston Martin.

Seems neither the Red Bull, nor Mercedes seat were an option for him next year.
