Tottenham Skintspur.

Hello mid-table my old friend........
We've come to sit down here again
Playing in our shiny new ground
60 thousand mugs to be found
But the new ground, it will not affect transfers
Not at Spurs, it's just the sound of profit

To sign a player it is hard
We've gone and maxed the credit card
Signing players just on loan
But god forbid we have a moan
Levy doesn't feel like you and me
Just spend your money at the brewery
And suffer it all, in silence.........

Remember when levy said the new stadium wouldn’t affect us in the transfer market. Good times lol

Hercules said don't expect £150m NET spend. Not a lot of clubs ever spend that kind as a net figure I wouldn't worry too much about what he said

I'm sure someone really clever can enlighten me. How were we ever in talks with bale up until this morning but haven't got the money to loan or part pay on a forward with no where near the terms we'd have to pay for bale.
Guess Levy would be more willing to pay some money for Bale compared to what he was willing to when it comes to e.g. Piatek. Bale sells. Sponsor incomings, shirts and excitement. And off course he is a great footballer.

Beautifully put together, but how long have you been working on that? :)

If we were skint and Levy has our best interests at heart, relinquish some power and bring in Campos as DoF. Someone who can find quality on a shoestring. More chance of Levy sprouting a luscious afro, I guess.

Moura is not Kane's back-up. Neither is Son. Kane doesn't have a back-up. Jesus, I thought we'd all agreed on that already.

Of course they are. That's exactly what they did last season when Kane went out and it's surely what our management think of them, in the eventuality that Kane can't play. You're splitting hairs if you only want to call players backup who only have that very narrow role in the squad.

But to the point and back on topic, of the list of strikers Herc provided, none of them really make me excited. Here's hoping Son and Lucas can find their scoring boots again.

We didn't even get to "Levy's extended the overdraft" O'clock this year.
Stupid Banks and their fear of losing money.

City have Jesus on the bench.
Chelsea have Giroud and Batshuiyi on the bench.
Arsenal have Lacazette on the bench.
Leicester have Iheanacho on the bench.
Even Wolves have Cutrone on the bench.
We have Troy Parrott (if he makes the bench, which he's apparently not ready to).

The idea that you can't have a decent back-up striker is honestly astonishing.
That's not competition though is it?
