Interested to know why @Hercules and @Trix have such an issue with Donna Cullen. Has that been explained anywhere in this thread?

She's actually helped me out a number of times, and i know she has done a lot for the club and its supporters, so can't understand what the issue would be.

Im sure A@C knows that the club have a fair amount of knowledge about what is said in these forums.

I get the sentiment behind this, but it's clearly on the players now. No manager in the world would be able to get a tune from this squad at the mo, they just don't look like they want it. And that painful rebuild Poch spoke about us still deeply needed. One Dybala or Bale won't change things unfortunately.

One thing I noticed from All Or Nothing was Jose's frustration at the team for not pressing. Watching the games, it looks like they've been asked NOT to press but every episode it seems Jose's pleading with them to press. They just aren't doing it. And it was the same at the end of Poch's time.

This threw me too. Although the TV show shows JM shouting at them to press and get forward and the players not doing it, we don't know the tactical side. In the Everton game I genuinely felt at times players were unsure if they could break from their position. The central midfield position seems to be the only positions that doesn't have clear instructions. I think JM is playing for the cameras. It's only when Hugo or Kane shout that it has an impact on the pitch.

I think the fear of conceding with Poch and JM has ruined Winks as they put the onus on him to shield the defence instead of linking defence and attack. I don't like PEH pushing so high up cos he is so limited on the ball.

Maybe Mourinho just doesn't know how to coach a functioning press. Theres more to it than yelling "press". It's also a way of playing that's linked to having a functional possession game, which is something he hasn't been able to coach for at least five years, so there is some issues that he has to solve by other means than throwing people under the bus.

You cannot press if you are not fit. We're the unfittest we've been since 2016/17.
