Good morning

Here's another thread for the discussion of absolutely anything you like.

Except ITK. If we get any of that, just ignore it and bang on about whatever takes your fancy.

Or is this all a cunning trap, well, there's only one way for you to find out. Did I gave you six warnings or only five. But being as this is a .44 banstick and would blow your arsehole clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky...........

Dragon1 on COYS this morning:
Talks with Brent ford are ongoing they want a lot of money

we are talking to another striker non English based ,young early 20s and not a name we have been linked with previously But huge potential

Eriksen could happen long way to go but there is small chance

none of the offers we have for Tanguy are anywhere near our number as things stand he stays

still talking with Korean but complex

Just for claritys sake, would it be alright do discuss a possible Eriksen return in here today after what Dragon has said, or should it be kept in the Eriksen thread?

If anyone seriously wants to go through all that bollocks again, he did this, he did that, I don't want him because of this, he's a **** because of that..........Put it in his thread NOT in here. It's been done to death and quite frankly not even an old Goat wants to sit and read it all over again and again and again.

Bit of an odd one that, he'll cost decent money and we're not exactly short on wingers. Would rather we sort out Watkins if we're talking to Brentford.

Looks like we are talking about both with Brentford

Benrahma has been very good for Brentford, but it isn't exactly a priority position for us, and with the earlier ITK that we're now looking to sell to buy, I'd be surpised if we didn't prioritise a striker in first.

Sounds like we're getting back to our opportunistic transfer approach again what can possibly go wrong.

Important to get Tanguy fit again, so it's good to see him play on Saturday. Hopefully other clubs will see he isn't effected by covid and hopefully be a bit more eager to commit.

If we were to sign Benrahama surely Lamela would be surplus to requirements?

As why would be using limited funds on a position we have depth in and eating into the funds for a desperately needed striker.

We need more creativity. Its clear as day.

All of Eriksens goals and assists are yet to be replaced. Lo Celso has 2 PL assists.

Its alot to put on his shoulders, even more so with Ndombele....

There is still so much work to be done to this squad. We could all see that under Poch. Jose coming in doesnt solve that.

Nice to be linked with a creative player. Can not see it as long as we are not able to shift some players for some good money to make these transfers happen.
The striker is essential, everything else is bonus, even though we could do with another defender and some creativity/assists/goals from midfield (who don't).

Seeing Benrahma is best from LW does not make too much sense for me. It is Stevies, Sonnys and Sess' best position too and even Lucas could play there. Rather someone who is used to the RW.

Do we know if Dragon's info about talking to Brentford is also about Benrahma, or Watkins?

The latest itk has left me a bit meh
The Goat was weaving dangerously in and out of traffic, half blinded by glare of headlights, he took a sharp left as a hail of machine gun bullets screamed past his head. Tyres squealed as the engine was pushed to the limit, at over 100mph he ran straight through red lights forcing pedestrians to leap aside for safety, suddenly a grenade went off just ahead if him, he pushed hard on the brakes, they locked and he skidded sideways, through a cloud of tear gas to a halt. Gazing up at the pursuing helicopter, he fired two quick shots at it through the windshield before opening the door, gazing at the camera and saying "we are very interested in Said Benrahma"

That better? :playful:
