It is going to be a fun four days until the deadline, I hope the fans can keep their heads and we can pull off the signings that we crave !, keep the faith. COYS

I remember JJ was very optimistic before and saying something like we’ll be happy come the end of the window, now it sounds like things are in the balance and could go either way. That’s not a good sign in my book.

That's why you should never get too excited by anything you hear from anyone. Instead, go with history. Go with DL negotiating our transfer deals.

Im logging out for the next few days fuck this nonsense, too many times we've been here, it getting embarrassing.
We know how this ends.

Laters.
Okay but no tears when we sign all of the players and you're not here to celebrate with us.

It’s one eye on the Eriksen situation as the ITK’s have said. CE seems to be the blockage now, I think once that gets resolved we will see movement.

Can't see it being resolved by thursday, why would non-PL teams rush it?

It seems like we’re waiting for a resolution. But the big question will be what we will do if by deadline day he is still here and there is no prospect of him leaving.

If Eriksen is this season’s ‘deadwood’, and we only have just over three days left, we could be royally rogered

Surely this is peak transfer time! None of us know how this will end. Will it be like last summer only with a year's worth of frustration added in? :X3:

Or will Levy deliver and this forum erupts in joy, with all of us lining the road to the stadium, weeping like children while our glorious leader and the new signings are carried down the tottenham high street on elephants?

All i know is I'm on some serious drugs!

We should be strengthening in his position regardless. It’s so depressingly predictable if it turns out this way.

A one in/one out policy will not see us improve, and if he does stay and is demotivated then another playing challenging for his position is the best way to get him to pull his finger out. Not to mention the added options it gives us in certain games.

At the risk of getting banned for derailing the thread (Sorry A&C), but i think this has to be said. Not one to often post in ITK threads, but heres goes.

We know how it ends? We usually do our business in the last week of a transfer window, it is how we operate. Going back ten years we have signed the following players in the last week of a transfer window.

2009.
Niko Krancjar (DLD)
Younes Kaboul (DLD)

2010
Van Der Vaart (DLD)

2011
Scott Parker (DLD)
Louis Saha (DLD)

2012
Moussa Dembele
Clint Dempsey (DLD)
Hugo Lloris (DLD)
Louis Holtby

2013
Eriksen
Lamela
Chirices

2014
Fazio
Stambouli
Alli

2015
Son

2016
N'koudou
Sissoko

2017
Foyth
Aurier (DLD)
Llorente (DLD)
Moura (DLD)

Hang around, enjoy the ride, and then whinge/celebrate after the Transfer window shuts. Still a few days left, and a lot of work to do, but i wish people would objectively look at the facts rather than get in a hissy over one transfer window. Don't want to derail the thread, so i just leave that there, but just felt it needed to be pointed out.
