Great stuff from Woakes and Buttler with the bat, decent contributions too from Gutless Root and Sibley earlier on as well.

That will save Buttler until the winter tour.

What a great test match.

Fantastic effort from England. At 117 for 5 it looked done and done. The Woakes/Buttler partnership was superb. But with the knives out for Buttler, that was great innings, showing real character.

Highlight for me was when the Umpire was checking the roundness of the ball and Bumble said 'The Umpire's got his ring piece out'.

Cheers for the lols guys. Good that we can remain 98% civil and enjoy a victory. See you all for coffee and cakes and the 2nd Test back down on a flat wicket at the Ageas Bowl on Thursday.

Desperate to know how much @Archibald&Crooks won...

So, if Butler is replaced as wicket-keeper for the 2021 winter tour of the sub-continent as you suggest, our middle order will read:
Popesy
Stokesy
Foakesy
Woakesy
