Very tough test this, especially given we are now without the entire spine of our team from back to front:
Gomes, Dawson, Luka and Defoe. Shocking really:bang:

Looks like Harry will go with the 4-5-1 formation again,I think we'll see this:

gallas and VDV worked hard today, but are not yet match fit, so I don't think they can start Tuesday. Lennon did not look fit, so Kranjcar in the above line up for him seems more likely. I don't know about gomes' status, but maybe pletikosa can punch the ball clear of his own 6 yard box... Maybe even start JJ in for keano if Harry wants to run crouchy into the ground as the lone ranger...

Tuesday is not encouraging after today's result. I feel for all fans traveling to Bremen - Best of Luck All - enjoy!!

Why not play jj, he can keep the ball,vital in europe, he can break , and played so well at stoke, wilson in germany could be a disaster!

charlie too slow, and half asleep, kaboul,whilst not a long term solution,proved at city last season, in a massive game, he can fill in, hes quick and strong at least.

crouch in europe will worry most CH's, and werder's best CH is out injured..crouch must start.

how can you throw in bentley in such a massive game,our first ever CL group game,he hasn't played since when?
i cannot understand that one.That wouldn't be fair for him either.

Did you see pav yesterday, did you see pav in swissland, his goal apart, he bordered on invisible.
