Do we need all of Wink, Sissoko, Ndombele, Dier, Wanyama, and Skipp in one matchday squad? no place for Parrott?

he's always done this. even if kane and son were out i fully believe it would be sanchez and foyth taking their place if they were fit.

i see whiteman is on the bench today so seems like he's still 3rd choice, i guess it's just austin's turn now to take two years out of his career.

Jamie Reynolds has joined Billericay Town in the National League South. They're managed by Spurs academy graduate Jamie O'Hara.

Our Under-16s came second in our Premier League Qualification group, kicking off with a 2-0 win against Wolves, with goals from Dane Scarlett and Roshaun Mathurin, assisted by Scarlett. Then, we beat Norwich 1-0 with the goal from Dante Cassanova, assisted by Scarlett. Then, in our last match, we lost 2-1 to Fulham, due to a terrible defensive display, with a goals from Mathurin and Scarlett, assisted by Cassanova.

(I think it’s pretty obvious who the attacking talents to look out for are)

Dane Scarlett is a name that keeps cropping up.

Does anyone have good info on him? Is he highly thought of?

He will be captain one day hopefully. Never seen him play but to have captain scarlett in the team is too good an opportunity to turn down.

He has played a bit for the u18s.

He is only 16 so we should think long term and do not put him in the same bracket as say a Troy Parrott.

He played in the match at Fulham away who was so much better than us on the day so it was a hard match to play in.

Most reports and team sheets had him playing out on the left but he did not stay there for long and he was playing ahead of Kion Etete at times in the match.

He likes to run behind teams into space because he has a lot of pace and he looks a strong player for his age.

It is very early days for him and what u18 football he will play this year is a massive bonus for him going forward.

Actually think Mathurin is gonna be touted as our next wonderkid in the Edwards Parrott bracket.

When we were looking at Wilmot it was clear in my eyes who was the better player, but he due to circumstanes ended up on tour and showed everyone how good he was despite being behind Dinzeyi and Eyoma apparently, and essentially stagnating last year. Everyone was raving about him, but now he will disappear again and the whole preseason will be meaningless.

I don't even know what the plan is for him, did he resign a new contract. He like Hinds is one that should try their luck away from the club.

As I'm on Hinds and also been speaking on Chelsea, if we could between us actually bring through at least 2 of these 4, KWP, Hinds, Lamptey and James England would have the best RB options in the world hands down. Two will have to leave though I reckon, but both clubs have done well for producing RBs, that's even forgetting to mention Aina and Sterling at Chelsea.

The whole reason Wilmot didn't sign is because we only offered him a place in our development squad whereas Watford made it clear that he'd go straight into working with the first team. It's not exactly worked for Wilmot since he moved but I can't imagine anyone would think he made the wrong decision.

Based off what?

At u16 level Edwards was considered a ridiculous talent, he was easily imo the best player in his age group and one of the best in the world. As good as Mathurin is I'm not really sure he is there yet, but he is a real talent. Serious skill and ability to shift his weight. He is also physically quite developed so strong and and quick. Would like to have seen how he would have fitted into the England setup if he went.

Speaking to someone on twitter who’s coached him and said he’s the best he’s ever seen.

Rosh is the most creative player I’ve ever seen or worked with. He can do anything with a ball. And is now starting to add real end product
