Bit sloppy, we've played well though. Those 4 in attack isn't going to work

Dele Alli really struggling in the number 10 position when its tight and lack of pace and power in wide areas. Lo Celso should be playing as a number 10 imo.

Horrible miss. Players need to make more runs to give options to Lo Celso, not easy with West Ham parking the bus but being static won't do anything.

It’s amazing how one simple piece of technology has rendered an entire sport unwatchable.

Idk how you can trap a ball so well and then skew it so wide.

So many times Lucas comes inside and we look so one sided with width! So frustrating.

We grew into it. At least we tried attacking.

Passing still awful, and we still can't play through midfield atm...

Alli got to be one of the most overrated players in Europe
He is only overated by about 5 posters on this forum. Everyone else knows his limitations..but don't worry I'm sure a goal will rebound of his arse in the second half and everything else is forgotten.

It is literally ridiculous that VAR, which was brought in for "clear and obvious errors", is being used for marginal offsides where the tech isn't even precise enough to ascertain when the ball left the foot, and where the frames/movement means you can't even be sure exactly where the player was.

Exactly. They're so anal about offside to the point where it's even a question of frame rate, and yet when it comes to things like fouls/penalties they're so hesitant to overrule the referee that they may as well just not bother with it.

I'm not against VAR per se but the stupid way that theyve implemented it just makes it infuriatingly bad

Seriously, I'm not exaggerating or blowing my own trumpet. I'm not that good a footballer really. But ffs I could have finished that chance by Moura. The near side of goal was wide open!!

Agreed. But I was not complaining in the CL semi Vs City last season. We've benefited from the shit VAR implementation just as much as we've suffered from it. That's my impression anyhow.
