We are painful to watch at the moment make me wanna smash something lol. I’m sure it stems from our midfield ndombele can’t run for any decent amount of time, Dier is flat footed and about as agile as a rock and that leaves winks trying to do the work of 3 just ain’t gonna happen, Sess needs to grow some as well and play more aggressively on the front foot. Year again we are passive and second best in nearly all departments.

Son and Lucas cant lead the line. Neither have the intelligence to look up and play in supporting players. Especially when our game plan seems to revolve around getting the ball to them as quickly and directly as possible. Its why we just recycle posession over and over and invite pressure.

Only ever one or the other, with a Dele/lamela/GLC type behind them .

I only want to ship out Lamela because of his injury record. We can't have a player who plays as rarely as he does no matter how good they are.

3 at the back and a CB in Dier in midfield is completely pointless. Our midfield has been non existent

To be fair Southampton are playing much better as a team and have been for 4 months. We are still struggling to find what we are as a team and it shows.
