TEAM FORM ___ Spurs DWDLD ______ Palace DLWDW ___ (All Competitions)

We have won our last 8 Premier League (PL) games against Crystal Palace, conceding just 1 goal in that run. Only against Birmingham (10 in September 1964) and Blackpool (9 in January 1964) have we had longer winning runs in our top flight history
Palace are winless in their last 7 away PL games against us (D2 L5) failing to score in each of the last six.

We have lost our last home PL derby 0-1 against west Ham in April. We last lost consecutive home London derbies in the league back in November 2004 (vs Charlton and Arsenal). We have lost 2 of our last four home league games (W1 D1) – more than we had in our previous 30 in the PL at White Hart / Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (W25 D4 L1). We have trailed for 127 minutes in home PL games this season – 22 minutes more than any other side. We have won just 16 points from our last 16 PL matches, W4, D4 L8, 23 fewer than we won in our previous 16 games (W13 D0 L3).

Palace’s last five PL away games against “big six” sides have them pick up wins against Man City, Arsenal and Manu (L2), while they were also the last side to win away at Anfield. Indeed, since the start of 2016-17, the Eagles have won away at 5 of the “big six” sides (more than any other club), with us being the only exception.

This is only the 4th time Palace will play a PL match starting the day in the top-four and its the first manager Roy Hodgson has done so since 1998 with Blackburn Rovers, losing 4-0 away at Leeds united.

Kane’s goal against Arsenal for us was his 28th in PL London derbies, drawing him level with Jermain Defoe and Ian Wright – only 3 players have more than Kane; Henry (43) Lampard & Teddy (32)

Palace’s Jordan Ayew has scored in each of his last 2 PL appearances – he could become the first Ghanaian to score three in a row since his brother Andre in 2016 and only the fourth overall (also Asamoah Gyan in 2010 and Tony Yeboah in 1995

I have a horrible premonition that Zaha is going to rip our RB a new arsehole. Poch is going to have a cunning plan to deal with him. I think our only options is to pick Aurier or play Davies on the left and Danny on the right if KWP is still not fit. Sorting this issue out will be key to our success on Saturday.

Very early on in the season but this one has the feels of a game that will set the tone for the rest of our season.

I'm back to feeling nervous about this one. A feeling that I thought had been banished not too long ago.

Alas, since the second half of last season, it seems like the wheel nuts have been loosened.

Be good to see a real concerted effort from all, feck the media in depth analysis about Poch, Eriksen and all the other anonymous sources that create nonsense stories.

Let's see Spurs get back to doing their talking on the pitch.

Yes we've injuries, but I'm pissed off that 4 games in, whether right or wrong, all that's being reported is X,Y or Z player isn't happy or wants out.

Yes we've been unlucky of late with the injuries, but we should have one or two back this week.

4 games in and it seems like plenty of doom and gloom.

Feck that, point at Arsenal and City is a good point any day of the week, so that leaves a poor result against Newcastle.

This is a good Spurs squad, great debatable. But unlike the media, I'm not writing our season off after four games.

Nervous I may be, but quickly remember that we have shown character and strength before, and am sure we can replicate again and go on a good run once more.

I hope the crazy training schedule is now over with and we are now not looking like we have run the marathon De sables. And we put these upstarts to the sword. Big time!

Feeling quite relaxed about this one. In all honesty I’m not expecting a great performance but a mediocre one should be enough to make sure we get three points. These matches, at home, are a must win if we wanna’ be in CL next season. COYS

No doubt they'll sit in & try hit us on the break most likely. They've pace up front.

If that is their game plan hopefully unlike the Newcastle game where we tried to walk the ball in, we have a few shots from outside the box.
