That was shite. Utter, boring shite.

I mean, it was great that we stopped them threatening our goal and Winks played a big part in that, but going forward was so horrific. Son and Kane barely looked threatening, whilst Moura, Sissoko and Aurier teamed up for some head scratching combinations (and not in a good way).

GLC was a right **** though. Loved the bit on 60 mins where he kept putting his hand towards Digne. Digne kept slapping it away, it was like watching a big brother wind up his younger sibling.
Disagree on Son - he has flashes of his old self in the second half. That telling off from Hugo did something.

I can't take much more of Lucas Moura absolute pants . Should have been taken off no amend that should not have started .
I have said it before Jose has a blind spot with Moura and he needs to see what most of us see and that is Moura is a late substitute player at best with the hope he can make an impact and if I was Bergwijn I would have the hump big time .
As much as I agree about Mou love in with Moura being unjustified, tonight he was actually pretty useful as part of our industrious performance, gave us much much more than Son and Kane.

Guess that is as good as it gets with a right side (Serge, Sissoko, Lucas) that could have been Naughton, Livermore and Townsend.

In addition of that some players who probably would like to press, some that like to stay deep and some who don't want to defend at all. But that is still better than the ideas for attack.

3 Points, so so proud

Has skipp played any minutes since him and ndom got called out after a match (cant remember which one)

I think ndombele is finished here.

A midfield three of Winks, Skipp and Ndombele couldn't possibly be worse than that sorry excuse of a double of Sissoko and Winks. Sissoko is basically non-existent. Who's willing to bet we would be seeing the same type of comments we see with KWP now is we loaned out Skipp to the likes of Southampton next season? He's a decent player and most importantly he sits in front of the back four and protects them to a pretty good degree. Much needed.

Hugo’s words in the post match interview isn’t exactly calming me that things aren’t going badly between the players. Talking about playing for the team not individual interests. I mean that doesn’t sound good. I wonder if Son is looking for a move?

We defended way better at least. They never looked like scoring at all

There is only so many times we will get away with that though. If the opposition score we are fucked, because we're astoundingly poor going forward. The football just needs to be so much better. I really believe that over the course of a season, defending like this will be nothing to shout about at all if we simply can't create any patterns of play.

I know what you mean, but the only thing we’ve got left this season is finishing above Arsenal. 3 points, and I’ll just forget the match. Which I’ll have absolutely no trouble forgetting :D.

True but I dread every game playing like how we are now, especially a NLD.

Everyone keeps going on about Ndombele, if Ndombele can't get into this team then something is wrong with him.

I think we could’ve played another 90 minute and I don’t think Everton would’ve scored.

I’m not sure if that’s a compliment to us or criticism of how poor Everton were.
A bit of both maybe, but had we defended like we did against Sheffield I don't think we would have had a clean sheet. I think the purpose of this game was 'show me' that we can work as a team and that's what happened. Uninspired yes, but we worked hard as a team, kept focused, kept concentrated.

One of the main things that you could tell was different is we actually had men back in the box. Against Sheffield this wasn't the came. The goals we conceded came overloads in the box, because players didn't track back.

What did he say? Tbh it crossed my mind in the game that his body language didn't look normal. I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to leave.

Its hard to get anything from this team as there is no creativity in it except lo celso. Kane isnt getting any service. 2 full backs, a CM and a winger who can actually create are needed.

Only just seen the goal. Had it come off an attacker like that would it have been hand ball? Looks like it came off the underside of his arm.
