Team Form: ____ Spurs DWLLD _____ FK Crvena WWWWW __ (All Competitions)

Crvena Zvezda (CZ) have won just one of their 10 away UFA European games in England (W1 D4 L5), winning 2-1 against Liverpool in November 1973 in the European Cup.

CZ have lost all four away UEFA Champions League matches, scoring twice and conceding 16. The last team to lose their first five away matches in the competition were Malmo FF in November 2015. CZ's Marko Marin has been involved in six goals in his last 6 CL matches (1 goals 5 assists), assisting twice in their 3-1 win over former club Olympiakos,

CZ's Manager Vladan Milojevic has lost his two previous CL games in England - he played for Panathinaikos against Arsenal in Sept 1998 and managed against Liverpool with CZ last season and lost 4-0. They are looking to win consecutive European / CL matches for the first time since March 1992, when they won 3 in a row as holders of the European Cup.

We met CZ in the last 16 of the 1972-73 UEFA Cup, winning 2-0 at White Hart and losing 1-0 away but progressing 2-1 on aggregate. We lost our last CL match 7-2 at home against Bayern Munich, the first time an English team lost by 6 goals in a home European match in any competition. Only Celtic in 2016/17 (10 goals) have conceded more goals than us this season (9) in our first two CL group stage matches of the campaign.

Kane has scored 14 goals in 16 CL group stage matchs - since Kane's debut in the competition in September 2016, only Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski (19) have scored more goals in the group stages. Only one of the previous 16 teams to concede 7 goals in a CL group stage match have gone on to progress to the next round - Deportivo de La Coruna lost 8-3 to Monaco in the 2003-4 and went on to reach the semi finals.

I regret to say that I am expecting a listless, disjointed performance with little attacking threat; and will be holding my breath every time the opposition plays a long forward ball.

Reckon there will be more excitement off the pitch with their fans dotted all over the stadium, than on it

If Lo celso gets some minutes I'll be happy.

Only positive thing about this game.

The team selection at the weekend was probably because Poch had one eye on this game. We'll probably see Davies, N'dombele, Lamela and Son all start tonight. Hopefully Lo Celso to play some part as well. I'm not confident, but I think we'll get a win tonight as I can't see them stopping Son and Kane if they both start.

Nobody else has attempted saying that name and we’re all pretending to be old skool by saying Red Star Belgrade, right?

Come on, you knew I'd rise to that bait.

The second half is exactly as it looks. The first half is S-r-veh-na, with a rolled R and the stress on the "Sr".

Lots of empty seats still, even when you factor in the lack of away fans it looks like the Club have got it very wrong this season by not offering a CL ticket package again. £45 upwards isn't cheap and it doesn't help we're playing so badly.

It has certainly made the difference for me. I bought tickets for the Bayern Munich massacre, but the combination of the high cost and the fact that I'm generally singing on Tuesday evenings has put me off the other two home matches. Last season, the deal was so good that I bought all three without hesitation.

It’ll be a good kick in the arse for them. Levy and the team.

Can't help but feel slightly ominous about tonight. Naively I was expecting an improved performance against Watford but it didn't come. I think now any hope and optimism is gone. We must be a dream for opposition teams to play against at the moment.
