Kovac didn't change anything of significance. The only difference in the game was that they buried half chances and shots outside the box and we flubbed great chances to score.
You have got to be joking. That was very obviously not the "only difference."

To me if we go back to having a holding Mid and sort Rb out half our problems are solved

I can think of worse things than giving Sissoko a run at Rb and reintegrating Dier

So far our new stadium, our fortress, has only served to allow for an additional 30,000 fans to suffer it live and pay a premium price :p

Poch is trying to deflect the flack from the players in his interview. However, I bet (and hope) they are hearing a few home truths behind closed doors.

So let’s some up ...

Toby is looking done,
Verts is looking done,
Eriksen wants out.

We ain’t getting nothing back for these three.

Aurier is a liability,
Rose wants out,
Harry Winks has potential but not sure if he is a starter for us at the minute.

Reckon we would get 40 odd million for the three immediately above.

You are probably looking at spending 260m at least to replace the above 6 players leaving a bottom line net spend of 220m.

We have also needed a back up striker for the last 2 seasons now so add another 60m.

Could be the start of a tough few seasons really.

As much as I love him I just can't see Poch turning this around unfortunately. Not sure he has it in him to completely change a system in a week because that is exactly what we have to do. Drop the fucking contract dodgers too.

He definitely needs to be stronger when it comes to dropping certain players.

I'm not a Pochettino fanboy by any means, but I'd have more faith in him remaking the squad than some random guy starting from scratch.

Drop Aurier & Eriksen and play a DM is all that’s really needed - it ain’t rocket science that the diamond clearly ain’t working.

Must admit, I tried to get a ticket but was priced out, very relieved atm.

We've seen zero progress for a year, only regression. The thing is, who can we possibly get in to correct our course? Mourinho certainly isn't the answer.
The regression started more than 2 seasons ago. We stood pat for too long and the individuals got no better. And worse yet they got no competition. If someone is 2nd team then you get rid of them and recruit on top of the starter and make them fight for their position. All the while incrementally improving the overall squad.

This situation now give Levy the leverage for a DOF if he really wants one. There are so many players that should have been moved on not to mention so many in the last year of their contracts while playing below par. So many excuses for so many players yet the team is suffering. They are professionals which means no excuses. Workaday professionals don't get excuses either. It's what it means to be a professional.

Poch got it hideously wrong tonight, naive to say the least. But calls for Mourinho are ridiculous. No fucking chance in hell, is Levy gonna bring in Mourinho, just ain't happening.

Poch is deflecting our collapse he thinks its just a case of 'they scored with every shot' this tells me that things wont get any better

Agree. This is my main apprehension and this is the way it's been going on since last fall. Always deflecting and never assuming responsibility.

I don’t think so I don’t see what purpose it serves to chew them out on live tv

Its not about laying into them, its about him realising we collapsed & our mentality needs to be worked out, anything positive from him going forward instead of just brushing it off as a one off cause clearly this season hasn't gone well let alone this game

Thing is, you’re not just paying for the football, you’re paying for a world class stadium and facilities.
