Not sure Mourinho would want to join us anyway.

Even if he did he'd be gone in 3 years.

I'd stick with Pochettino, but he needs Levy to help him overhaul the squad.

As much as I love him I just can't see Poch turning this around unfortunately. Not sure he has it in him to completely change a system in a week because that is exactly what we have to do. Drop the fucking contract dodgers too.

They all think they're worth more (insane wages at top clubs), performances would suggest they don't have the mentality to play for the top clubs, any top club watching us over the last 12 months wouldn't touch any of the wantaways with a barge pole!!

I disagree. It's been proven time and time again that money is poor a motivating factor and if the players enjoyed their situation they would stay. We've had ITK over the past year that Vertonghen and Toby have wanted to sign new contracts but Levy and Poch have played hardball. Rose is looking for a way out of a club he's been at for what is it? 12-13 years?

Players who went to the CL fucking final are looking like they started playing football a couple of days ago. This is so much bigger than the players and to me is symptomatic of a complete lack of proper leadership at the club.

Poch is deflecting our collapse he thinks its just a case of 'they scored with every shot' this tells me that things wont get any better

Also I know individuals have to accept culpability for mistakes and giving the ball away (plus when chasing the game the structure/balance of the team changes) but for the goals all of Winks, Alderweireld and Aurier are trying to force the play and do something when they have no options to work with.

Contrast that with what Bayern were doing, even when they were behind and under the cosh in the game, just zipping passes to where they know their teammate will be and doing what has been drilled into them in terms of pattern plays and moves worked on in the training ground. We were discussing this a while back when contrasting us to City as well.

Who do you bag more, the individual for making the mistake trying to eek out a pass/play or blame the non-existent foundations and shape to allow us to construct play (particularly out from the back)? It's just a circular shit show for me - failure of tactical stuff alongside individual responsibility.

I'm not even mad, I was in awe of Bayern, that's from a manager who has been up against it also. Superb from them, I was watching them at 4-2 just closed the game and it was incredible, we didn't have a hope and unfortunately we doubled down on our naivety by going gung-ho when the legs were gone vs a brilliant side and they said thanks very much.

We did start off well, but in the 2nd half I would just like to know exactly how that shit happened.

This season is going to be a painful blood letting, as this group has come to its natural end. There will be enormous turnover over the next two windows. Levy needs to just bite the bullet with half of them. Having over half a dozen in and around the first team squad who aren’t 100% committed, is killing us.

Who is there to build a new nucleus from? Kane, Son, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Winks, Sanchez, Foyth? Most of the others will be phased out over the next 12-24 months.

I’ve got a feeling this is going to get worse before it gets better. We’ve got to batten down the hatches as fans and get behind the next generation.

Levy won't bite the bullet though, will he? He wants too much dollar for deadwood that no-one else really wants!

This supports they way I felt while watching the game as well. I never felt that Bayern was playing incredible. We were just so soft and always a step behind after the 35th minute.

Yep did you also think he sounds like he is just going through the motions now? It didn't sound like he was that bothered like he used to be.
