The players don't care anymore. Upheavel needed
Son never stopped running tonight, as he does every game, same for Lamela.
Kane clearly cares as does sissy.
Some players love and play for the badge.
It's some of the others that are the problem, along with a manager who can't stop making the wrong decisions.
That's tactics, line-up, in game management and substitutions.
Bad bad situation we've been in for over 6 months.
I'd stop the rot now if I was Levy, but i don't think he will.

I've been saying it for 2 years now. Kane has been declining, has been found out and is turning into a penalty taking scorer. He hasnt advanced his game at all since winning the golden boot.

Of all the things to focus on. Kane is the absolute least of our problems.

He parks the bus at 1-0.
So You would rather we lose 7 2 at home in a CL match than 1 0 win and with a trophy...

I don't like mourinho but I think him or Alledri will at this moment in time be better for us.
I think Poch has lost it.
His comments post CL final and tactics are not called for and has hit him hard now.
He's lost the dressing room imo

I know people will kill Aurier but our centre back wow wee

Our CB's have performed for our club at a very high level for a long period of time. Aurier however has had, what, one or two half decent games. He's shit, rash and always got a mistake in him! He can fuck off and whoever chose to sign this clown can fuck off with him!

Just subbing him off for Moura and leaving on another midfielder may have helped limit the damage

Can't believe so many people are on Poch's back.

Look at how far he's brought us. It seems people have forgotten Amsterdam already

We'll scrape a win, then everyone will claim everything's dandy.

Agree, there is something very rotten at the club at the moment, probably noting to do with players nobbing each other’s wives, but there is something. People ridiculed trippier for saying it too!

I'm not too upset by the game overall, it's crystallised a few things for me. I thought there was a lot to take away from the game we can build on.

The capitulation at the end was entirely poch's fault, the players put everything into that first 30 minutes. Bayern were superb at locking the game down (something we should learn from them) and instead of accepting that the players legs were gone and to live to fight another day, Poch decided to remove dele and then even Winks and not two minutes after Winks goes off and we lose our shape do we get destroyed. That's on him there's no two ways about it.

Conceding at the end of the first half though, that's on the players they were very naive, I felt this was Winks worst game ever in europe, he was bullied off ball a fair few times and possibly he suits the italian/spanish teams but not the german teams. We showed real naivety in those last few minutes, not the first time this season as shown against Arsenal/Olympiakos conceding at that exact time. Son wasted glorious chance after glorious chance which wasn't great and you get punished at this level.

However there was one giant positive to the game and that was Ndombele, he pretty much single handedly retired the notion that we rely on Eriksen, we can build a whole team around this brilliant bastard. He see's things on the Pitch that I wouldn't with a birds eye view. Unbelievable player.

Now this as I say crystallises a few things for me and you have to give credit to a few posters they said it all summer, we want to push him further forward and we need to sign a proper DM. We need to free this guy up because defensively he's not ideal, he can contribute but we need that shield. We can then push up him and then Winks or possibly Lo Celso depending.

We need to replace both our fullbacks. They're shocking, simple as that, those are the 3 transfers we need. Possibly Sessegnon is one of them but our width was terrible and we couldn't get back and Bayern tore us apart.

So in conclusion:

Ndombele retired our need for Eriksen tonight
We need 3 new signings: DM, RB and possibly a LB depending on Sessegnon.
Poch might have lose his battle in a fist fight with bayern when he should have taken it on the chin and built on what was some of our most positive football of the season.

I fucking detest him as much as everyone else but i cant see past Mourinho being the person to get us out of this hole. Yeah he's a total twat but he doesn't take any bullshit and has a winning record. If we can somehow turn this season around now is the time to do it.

Not sure Mourinho would want to join us anyway.

Even if he did he'd be gone in 3 years.

I'd stick with Pochettino, but he needs Levy to help him overhaul the squad.

Poch needs help.
He needs some fresh eyes and to fill the holes where he lacks the tactical awareness.
He has to admit he doesn’t have all the answers.

He needs to bring in some assistant coaches and he needs to be okay being challenged on his tactics.
His strategy isn’t good enough. Full stop.
But, as a man manager and a huge heart, it would be a crying shame to lose him.

He needs help. Coaching and strategy help.
But is he capable of asking for it?

Also I know individuals have to accept culpability for mistakes and giving the ball away (plus when chasing the game the structure/balance of the team changes) but for the goals all of Winks, Alderweireld and Aurier are trying to force the play and do something when they have no options to work with.

Contrast that with what Bayern were doing, even when they were behind and under the cosh in the game, just zipping passes to where they know their teammate will be and doing what has been drilled into them in terms of pattern plays and moves worked on in the training ground. We were discussing this a while back when contrasting us to City as well.

Who do you bag more, the individual for making the mistake trying to eek out a pass/play or blame the non-existent foundations and shape to allow us to construct play (particularly out from the back)? It's just a circular shit show for me - failure of tactical stuff alongside individual responsibility.
