TEAM FORM __ _Southampton WWWLW ____ Spurs DLWDW ___ (All Competitions)

Southampton last faced us in the FA Cup during the 2002-03 season, winning 4-0 in the third round. They went on to reach the final that season. Since returning to the Premier League (PL) in 2012-13, they have lost six of their eight FA Cup ties against fellow top-flight opponents (W2)

We have lost our last two away matches against Soton, losing in the PL in March 2019 and January 2020. Lamela has been directly involved in 7 goals in his last 6 FA Cup starts (3 goals, 4 assists), scoring our 2nd goal in the 2-1 replay win over Middlesbrough in the 3rd round earlier this month.

In his entire managerial career, Mourinho has only lost 2 games against an opponent in the same calendar month once previously, losing 2 Champion league games against Real Madrid in February 2002 as FC Porto Manager

Looking forward to this one: my first away game for over 10 years where I’ve actually got tickets in the away section. FA cup. 3pm on a Saturday. Only 2 hours from London ?What could possibly go wrong? (I mean that rhetorically btw so please don’t)

A nice, safe, 3pm Saturday KO. No, in the limelight, last game of the round on a Sunday afternoon on the telly, or early KO where everyone can see us balls it up again.

I wouldn’t mind a replay we need more games to get back how we were.

I hope Jose continues to take the cups seriously. One of the few disappointments in the Poch era, he didn't take it seriously enough.

For this game. I'd take a replay, it will allow more fans to watch spurs in the new stadium at an affordable price in the return fixture.

Making sure we get through this tie (tonight or via a replay) is more important than any of our remaining league fixtures, so I hope we go as strong as we possibly can. FA Cup should be the top priority for the remainder of the season.

Put a tenner on the Saints winning- this hardly ever works for me so we’re probably through. If not, with the profits I’m buying luxury port and Stilton tonight with the express intention of making aristocratic floor chunder

No Parrott or Rose. Eriksen in the squad, as is Winks so clearly his injury wasn't too bad.
