The issue for defences will be who do you cover? You cant double up on Kane, Son and Bale. Someone is gonna get mugged. There'll be holes everywhere.

One thing I’ve noticed amongst rival fans’ views on Bale returning is that they seem to think that if he’s not at the level he was from 2012-2017 then he’ll be a flop. I’ve not seen anyone acknowledge that, as long as he’s an upgrade on Lucas/Bergwijn/Lamela then he improves an already terrific forward line alongside Son and Kane and takes it to a level that only Liverpool and City can compete with - and City massively miss Aguero.

I said before, it's wishful thinking, fans are downplaying it because they know what he's capable of and hope that he's going to flop, deep down they know that the front 3 have the potential to be dynamite.

Bale has noticeably lost a half a step of pace and is nowhere near the athletic powerhouse he was in 2016-2017. I think we’ll have to be patient with him and I’m not so sure he’s a beast of a forward anymore, he’s more of a fast, clever left footer with an excellent final ball and intelligence.

Time will tell but he’s not the left footed Son, and I worry about him tracking back too. Hope he kills it obviously but there are some concerns there, he hasn’t played football consistently in a year and a half basically.

Agree with all this. He’s got a peach of a left foot still but he’s not the athletic monster he once was.

Nice option to have though!

Fuck i really cant wait for the West Ham match. I need to see this trio in action. It’s going to be so fun when they really get going.

Finally we have a real threat on free kicks from Bale...Son on corner duties...Kane on his perfect penalty routines..

Triple Threat. Can't wait :)

Son will enter the final two years of his contract at the end of this season. I thought he had 4 years remaining. We need him to sign an extension

It's looking like it's going to be hard to get him in with Son and Kane as the third man has to do a lot of work. Son spends a lot more time higher up the pitch than the right winger as he's waiting to counter or work off Kane. Bale hasn't got the legs for that. It's why we are seeing Lamela, Moura and Bergwijn alternating.

Again, I think Bale on for Kane is more likely going to be a thing.
