Supposedly Thomas Partey has a 45 mil release clause. In my opinion we should just put up the cash. Would much rather him then hojbjerg. Partey, Gio, Ndombele sounds like a pretty good midfield three to me.

Because that would make far too much sense! We would rather spend 40 mill on Sessegnon and Clarke who dont play atm and may or may not have a future here.
We should seriously quite buying multiple cheap players and use that money on players like this. He would be amazing as a DM for us.

Don't know if he quite has the quality but this is exactly the type of player I want use to sign to play at the base of a 433. Someone who loves to defend and would hopefully help to protect our back 4.
Has anyone seen much of Baptiste Santamaria who seems to be a similar type of player but with greater quality on the ball?

I'd like to see us go after Ibrahim Sangare (Toulouse)
1 year left on contact, strong, dominant DM midfielder. 22 years old, very adept regarding defensive duties, but equally adept at quickly transitioning defence into attack.
Not forgetting, Toulouse have just been relegated.
He's got a bit of it all.
On that note, his passing maybe needs working on, but his stats are somewhat misleading, given that many of his attempted passes are quick long balls looking to turn defence into attack.
Reckon he could be a monster for what I'd expect, very little outlay.
Everton and Newcastle were/are supposedly linked.
