If I had bought a ticket I would be asking.

I feel gutted about having to pay sky to watch that. No urgency no desire no hunger.

We have gone from being free flowing and exciting to watch to stagnant boring and slow.

Ridiculous comments, we wee clearly trying against a very resolute side in Sunderland, they are third in the points total since mon took over only behind the two Manc clubs so a very good side, they basically played as if they were the away side not easy to break down and when we did get by they chopped us down.

Very harsh critism for me!

Are you deluded? What are you supposed to do when a team plays that deeply.

Sunderland did a job on us. We are at our best when teams come out and try to beat us. Look at Swansea last week... loads of rampaging runs, swashbuckling excitement. You cannot do that against teams who have 10 men behind the ball.

A good point. Was always going to be difficult.

With Chris Foy in charge of a game against another team of anti-football hooligans, I am a little relieved to get a point. Having actually watched the game it is frustrating to be the only team trying to play football and the only one going for 3 points.

This is a good point, before the match I would have taken it but the way Sunderland played I feel disappointed we didn't punish them. We just have to hope and pray Man City win tomorrow, because otherwise the momentum is with Arsenal still but if we can stay above them, beat Norwich and create a 4 point gap by the time they go to Wolves then I have a feeling they may start to crumble again.

A tad fairweather in attitude there old bean.

Gotta take the good with the bad and there has been a lot of good in recent times compared to previous years.

Wasn't a great game but Sunderland are a tough team who set out to stop you playing and stop you creating chances.

how old are you OP?

I do wonder because anyone who has been a SPurs fan long enough to remember games like us getting battered by Newcastle 7-1 or indeed just a few weeks ago after getting torn apart by Arsenal has quite a nerve making such comments because we have draw 0-0 in what would appear to be our hardest game left in our run in at a ground where Man City were beaten under similar circumstances not so long ago.

Agree, a good away point. Sunderland have hardly lost a game since O'Neill took over and our away form is nothing to write home about this year - if you'd offered me a draw before the game I wouldn't have taken it, but it puts us a point ahead of Arsenal and they have to play Man City, going to be very small margins between three or four teams at the end of the season and we may look back and say that this is the point that helped get third.

Nothing wrong with west London, Stoof, that's my neck of the woods, it's his mindset that's wrong.

See ya? Don't tell me you're bailing? You've stuck around during the Ruddock yrs. The Thatcher yrs. The Gross yrs. The Rohan Ricketts yrs. The Santini months. And now you're bailing? When we sit in third and the SF of the FA Cup?

M'kay pumpkin, whatever makes you happy.

As I said in the match thread, they set up for a point and got one. It's not the way I'd want my club to be playing if I was a Mackem, but fair play to them I guess. On paper, that was our toughest fixture left, so I think we can afford to only get a point today. Monday's where our season really starts though, we need at least 5 wins out of 6.

I know you don't really want an answer but the idea in that case is make sure it is not all played in front of them.....you have to get wide to get to the touchline and turn their defenders around. BAE, Bale and Walker only did it once in the whole game.....we were not effective...looked one paced and should have been good enough to do better

Not at our best but we controlled the game and its a tricky place to go and they have been doing pretty well lately. Its a good away point.
