COYS!

.............Lloris.........

..Tanganga..Toby..Dier..Verts..

..............Winks..........

.....Lo Celso......Lamela.....

.....Moura....Dele.....Sessegnon

Subs:
Gazzaniga, Aurier, Sanchez, Fernandes, Skipp, Ndombele, Parrot
Think we'll need the pace of Sanchez tonight. He looked shaky at Burnley, but Werner will roast Toby, Dier and Jan so I think Sanchez has to play.

Given the situation with the team, injuries, the negativity, the players form, the whole sad regularity of it all, one would hope to see a measure of balance and perspective from people tonight. I can't remember us ever being in such a position and I'd be astonished if we got any sort of result tonight, that would be a massive achievement.

Expectation really ought to have reached some sort of level of reality long before now and it'd be nice if just for a change, this thread reflected that.

Sadly, the usual rage babies will doubtless treat us to another thread riddled with spite, hateful bile and over the top bullshit because things don't go our way. Thank fuck its a school night.

Maybe if we get a few decisions our way early and the Leipzig players get the shivers - Of course anything can happen from there on.

But meh, just doesn't feel like this squad, at this moment have it in them.

Not expecting much. It would be great if the defenders could do their job well enough to give our makeshift attack something to fight for...

It's a pity there isn't a double-rainbow sign for being extremely optimistic.
I just think that we are unlucky to be on such a bad run of results. There are many factual reasons for why we aren't getting the best results, but also there has been a bit of bad luck. I don't think we've been that far from our opponents collectively to warrant no win in whatever number of games. So yeah, I'm feeling very optimistic, we just need to score goals.

Looking back at that annoys the fuck out of me. That's never a pen. Fuck Mane.

I was at the game right behind the goal and instantly screamed that it wasn't a pen. Ive never actually watched it again until this morning when I saw the GIF....terrible decision

With another injury to add to the list I can't see anything other than us bowing out.

We just do not have 2-3 goals per game in us at the moment as no one shoots. Dele is too slow at getting shots away (as he isn't a striker), Lamella wants to dribble it into the net, Lo Celso hasn't found the target yet and looks for a pass, Moura over dribbles and N'Dombele the only player who seems to be able to strike a ball from distance can't last.

I think we lose tonight 2-0 (3-0 on agg).

The kind of match you hope Jose comes up with one of his old masterplans. We saw last season when our overall form was bad how it was possible to get an away result so all is possible. Leipzig are not on the same form as earlier in the season and I for one rate our players so it would be a good day to upset the odds

I worry that Sanchez and his keep having to win every single ball attitude will end in disaster v Werner, I hope I'm wrong though and if he does play, he has a stormer.

Other than turning up tonight there can't be much of an expectation the team is fucked with injuries and struggling for form, even a low scoring defeat would be seen as a reasonable night.

Didn't we expect / hope for a masterplan against Wolves, Chelsea x 2, Liverpool, Man United?

All lost.

The masterplan stuff is no more a Jose-skill. Overrated..
