Poch needs a month off or something. The team selection was baffling, five at the back against the shittest team in the league, what the fuck was he thinking? He is obviously trying to make a difference, but nothing is coming off for him. I think he's mentally exhausted and it's infecting the team.

Son and Lamela the only ones to come out of that with any reason to hold their heads up. Ndombele was alright too. Winks and Sissoko doesn't make sense in midfield as they both just want to sprint forward all the time, we need somebody to sit in. If not Dier, we might as well give Foyth a go in DM and make thinktank bust.

As soon as Ndombele came on he showed Winks and Sissoko how to pass forwards and go through the lines of the opposition.

Instantly allowed us to move the ball more fluidly.

Sissoko was at fault for their goal. He just stood still and watched Decoure(?) run past him.

This season, opponents have broken from midfield and they have not been followed.
But we were playing a back 5 on Sat - how many more bodies do we need to throw into defence to stop these mistakes? Did we really need Sissoko, Alderweireld and Sanchez to deal with the one guy?

Maybe a natural RB would have sensed the danger and followed him in regardless, but Sissoko is not a RB and neither was he playing RB. Alderweireld was the wide defender in the absence of the wing back, and seemed to judge the guy offside and no danger. Toby gets the blame for me.

Unsure why we play 5 at the back against weak opposition. Aurier and Rose playing in attacking positions lack the ability that players such as Son and Lamela have. There were just too few creative players in the starting 11. Moura. Dele and Kane the only ones against Watford!

2nd half was better with Son and Lamela playing some football but we shouldn't have to wait that long.

Not sure what's up with Kane- he just never got in the match? Only once this season against Southampton has he truly fought for possession and taken the game to the opposition. Either tactics wrong or he is not up for it

8 Lamela, Son
7 Moura, N'Dombele
6 Winks, Sissoko, Dele, Gaz, Sanchez
5 Verts, Rose, Aurier, Toby
4 Kane

MoM Lamela

I’d agree with this but knock rose down to a 3.
