I was talking to my Old Man about Dele last night. Currently we have a free scoring team that, if/when we get the defensive frailties sorted out, could feasibly be a serious challenge for a number of honours this season.
What I said was that Dele will be looking at the way we're performing and has got to be thinking to himself "I want a piece of this." He's an intelligent lad who must realise the only way that will happen is if he ups his game to meet the demands that JM is placing on him, so what we should effectively have is a World Class talent taking his game to the next level and making an awesome attacking lineup even stronger.

Hopefully he's had that epiphany and we finally see the player we all know is in there.

he seemed to be playing that way on thursday night. he was on the quick incisive energy football we've seen at times, and not the slow nutmeggy dithery happy to lose the ball kind of football he's tended to favour.

Last season if all the players were fit the team almost picked itself and if the fans chose the team there would not be much difference in everyones choice . This season it would be completely different as there is so many choices with two players for each position and in some cases three choices for one position . I must say that things seem really exiting and I hope this is not a false dawn I somehow think we need not worry . As for the so called other five in the big six I dont feel daunted at all we may or may not beat anyone of them but will sure as eggs are eggs give them all a run for their money .
