Sissoko was superb today yet again.

Lloris and Jan deserves equal status as Sissoko for their match-saving moments during Auba's penalty.

Rose was a bloody timebomb in that central role. Pleaae dont ever play him there anymore Poch.

It’s been a pretty poor week for Poch but when you see what he had to work with just from losing Dier and Winks in CM is a symbol of the utterly disgraceful transfer policy.

That sums it up. Poch is working with inadequate tools to do the job thanks to lack of financial support in the market from Levy and Lewis who have also screwed up the stadium project completely. If we get top 4 then it will be despite them not because of them. Isn’t Lewis supposed to be one of the richest men in the world ? Maybe he should think about spending some of it . No use having a wonderful new stadium if we end up in the Europa and our best players want to leave at the end of the season. Having to start in CM with Sissoko , albeit the improved version and the shadow of himself that Wanyama has become shows how disastrous that policy has been. We are where we are through Poch instilling a fighting attitude in our skeleton squad combined with some very fortunate results like today.

Sissoko and Rose our best players today by quite a distance. If everyone else had shown the same levels of energy and passion we'd have been ok

Special mention for Hugo as well. Was and still is a fantastic keeper

Once again defensive mistakes cost us as well as our obvious lack of activity in the last TWO transfer windows

Feels like a win. That was torture....
But fuck Woolwich, if they can't beat us when we are pants and they need to win then they bottled it not us
Not losing when playing shite is what all good teams do we're told.

Not sure they had to win with us still having to go to Anfield and The Etihad....

Sissoko 7 for me mom ( never thought I would say that ever before this season )
Any one giving Eriksen more than a 3 wasnt watching the game plays like a player who thinks he is leaving and is scared of getting hurt never seen a spurs player just kick the ball away to avoid tackles so much in my life.

Jan close second with Lloris 6.5

Wanyama in front of sanchez was disastrous both 4s
Trips was once again not at the races 4
Son was non existent 2 games in a row 2
Everyone else a par 5

Yes mate Rose. Never stopped, never gave up. Tried everything. Always wanted the ball. Never hid. Stood up, stepped up

Obviously lacked quality etc etc but still right up there today due to mentality etc

Need those players in a NLD

Stop it. He was all over the gaff, shocking all day and in CM was like a pantomime

Sissoko for me. The only one playing with any verve, even looked more agile/nimble than I've seen before.

The rest were OK to meh.

Lloris nothing of note until the penalty save his second in a row (never thought I'd say that)

Sanchez was taking liberties controlling balls unaware he had two goons closing him. Then clumsy for the pen whether it should've been one or not.

Rose in cm was writing cheques his ability couldn't cash. And didn't seem to learn either. To just keep it simple. Trying nutmegs and dribbles or Hollywood balls.

Jan stated really poorly. With about five mis- controls but grew into it and made a match saving block.

Toby was fine.

Trippier was OK offensively and defensively.

Wanyama, a slow statue. Severely limits us when he's on the ball.

Eriksen. Poor again no energy or desire.

Son. Bad also didn't really do anything of note.

Kane. Left Sokratis pocket for the penalty. Still way off pace.

Lamela came on and ruffled a few feathers also created an elusive chance.

Llorente came on and we hoofed it to him with little success.

We have been playing a low intensity game all season but we are currently running on empty, hope it changes but don't expect it to...

Rose's final 10 min at DM will be studied by football scholars for decades to come.

Bizarre that he put Rose in the middle rather than Verts. Poch does seem to specialise in counter intuitive team selections....

Thought Sissoko was the only outfield player who played well.

Good save from Lloris and happy for him.

Aside from the amazing block and a great cross I thought Vertonghen looked injured and a little ropey, really poor pass that led to their penalty.

Sanchez looked shaky but then weirdly so did Toby at times.

Trippier got done pretty much every time he was faced up and offered no threat going forward, but better than Chelsea game.

Wanyama is officially broken and has to be replaced.

Kane tried hard but without much going right.

Son’s form has fallen off a cliff since Kane come back, sick of him playing up top alongside Kane.

Eriksen a shadow of former self and once again massively disappointed in him.

Lamela did his normal Lamela things and simply isn’t currently a good enough back up.

Minute Llorente is brought on it pretty much guarantees things will fizzle out, baffled by that constant sub.

Putting Rose CM when we still had a sub left is bizarre from Poch. Tactics today were just so negative and tepid, I don’t know why we stuck with 3 at back for so long. It’s been a pretty poor week for Poch but when you see what he had to work with just from losing Dier and Winks in CM is a symbol of the utterly disgraceful transfer policy.

Came to post something but you nailed it.
