Premier League in 2016: Alternative league tables for the calendar year

If the season was just played in 2016 Chelsea would have won the league, we'd have finished 4th with a game to spare as we play tomorrow. If it had been played today and we'd won we'd finish 2nd. Best defence in the league, most shots but only 5th in goals scored. Kane 2nd highest scorer, Eriksen 2nd most chances created. Not a bad year overall. Shame there isn't a 2015 to compare it with, I'm sure 2016 was an improvement though. Lets hope 2017 brings some silverware!

Annoying that our win today won't be counted in this table and no doubt the scouse pricks will be harping on about being 2nd best team in 2016 when in reality they were the 4th.
