I HATE VAR

It’s not good is it?

I thought it would help us this season, I really did but if anything it shows up our officials for being even worse than they were before, which is quite an achievement.

Managers need to address it IMO. They need to get into their players heads somehow

Just like us, think you score then var just crushes your spirit and concentration

This is a bigger issue than people realise. I'd love to see a stat at the end of the season which tells you the next team to score after a VAR intervention (i.e. the team who just scored or the opposition)

I am pro VAR but I’m not pro having ref’s mates as the VAR official. It needs to be another independent body.

United are currently crap but will get stronger than Spam as the season progresses. At worst, United could just throw chunks of money in Jan to strengthen their squad.

I wouldn’t be unhappy if the scoreline stood at FT.
Spam will drop more points in other games. Their opponents today are nothing to crow about. ?

VAR isnt good because it turns into guess work on close calls, it takes entirely too long and brings everything down to a science when the science might just be wrong. Not to mention, the ref doesnt go over to video to take a look now. A guy in a studio makes the call for him and they go with that view.

VAR has made a fair few mistakes already this season and was made into a farce this summer. Was fine last year but it seems like its ruined now. I think they tried to do entirely too much with it to get it to be adopted worldwide. Then they failed miserably to take heed of of the many, many warnings this summer showed.
