Mauricio Pochettino left an emotional goodbye message for his Tottenham players scrawled on a tactics board before leaving the club this week.

I hope he goes to Bayern and wins everything. Then to Real and wins everything, then to PSG and wins everything then comes back to us as the top club in the country and...yep..wins everything

Would be interesting to see if all the players feel like Kane and Dele. Have Eriksen, Toby, Jan or Rose said anything? If all in the garden was rosy we wouldn’t have had all these problems.

That was for our benefit, not the players. He can text them any time he wants. He can call them, and I'm sure he has.

But if he wants to make a statement directly to the supporters I'd prefer he just did that. Not some passive-aggressive 'poor me, I'm not allowed to say goodbye to the squad so I'll do it on twitter' stunt.

It reminded me of Diana in front of the Taj Mahal more than anything.

If it’s true that he was sulking around and had effectively given up on us and his project, then I can’t really feel sorry for him. I feel more sorry for the team and our fans, having to put up with it all.
