Also looked leaner today I thought.

Agreed. He looked like he’s lost some weight.

also, he sometimes jogs around and then seems to remember he has to press and picks up the pace and is more aggressive. If that becomes more ingrained, then we have a complete player on our hands.

You can see his confidence growing game after game. I think there is a chance Jose can be the making of him into a world class midfielder.

Has all the tools to be world class and now showing the work rate demanded, looking very good. Can't wait to see the full strength first team with Bale etc.

Unfortunately it will now be at least 6 weeks before we see Bale, Kane and Son....

Fitness aside, I challenge anyone to show me a more naturally skillful footballer in the English Premier League.

I hope he’s Starts tomorrow and I realise we will field a weekend team but I so want to win that and I think he could dominate that area.

I've waited until I've slept to post something after yesterday. Never been so angry after a game of football.

I thought Tanguy was the best player on the pitch when he came on. Sharp, incisive passing and just the ability on the ball that nobody else has that can create something. When the ball was fired into him a couple of times and he one touched it off the outside of his foot and spun the other....just quality.

I've heavily criticised him previously which I thought was warranted. However, the last 2 games now he's looked better, sharper and fitter.

For how much we dominated in the first half, I think we would have been out of sight with Ndombele on the pitch. They were giving our MF's loads of space on the ball and sitting deep. He would have tore them to shreds.

He's looking pretty sharp to me and completed 90 mins against Shkendija.

I just feel we don't need both Winks and Hojbjerg against a team that will mostly be sitting. I believe if Ndombele had come on yesterday for Winks (a bit earlier too) we would have got a couple more goals.

I'd imagine we will see more of the pairing when we start playing 1 or 2 games tops a week. Need to manage squad this week unless we throw the league cup and put the kids out

You have to try this ... Barcelona: Busquets (Hojberg) Xavi (Lo Celso) Iniesta (Ndombele) or Casemiro (Hojberg) Modric (Lo Celso) Isco (Ndombele ... you don't need a number 10. Only players with a good pass , sacrifice and a lot of quality.

I'd actually like to see how we'd do starting him as the #10 with Gio alongside Hojbjerg.

I'd quite like to see them in a relatively flat 3 with either GLC or Ndombele going forward while the other stays put with Hojbjerg. Some games they could probably both play more advanced.
