These kind of initial observations of a player I have not watched week in week out but have seen a compilation on YouTube after hearing we might be interested in him do your head in?
What's wrong with an initial observation of what I see? Did I say "this guy is better than Son" . Did I say "Son is rubbish"? No. I said his style looks similar to that of Son however he appears to get his head up well and has the vision for a pass which of late Son is not doing.

Would bringing Bergwijn in suggest more of a shift to 433, as Mourinho had with success at Chelsea. With a legitimate DM in the centre of the midfield three, we’d be well set with two from Lo Celso, Ndombele and Gedson to provide the dynamism either side, then wide forwards from Bergwijn, Son and Moura, with Kane or Piatek/Willian Jose as the focal point.
Where does this leave Alli? As a CM breaking from deep, or as a roving forward?

Aston Villa and Everton are big clubs and they ain’t won anything in ages. History and fan base size are bigger factors. United could not win anything for the next 10 years but you’d say they are huge still.
