Looking forward to see him get more game time. One thing I think he needs to do is watch the off the ball movement Son has been showing and aim to mimic. He’s got the pace to make those in behind runs that Kane can pick out with his eyes closed, and he’s shown himself a decent finisher too. Big week for him.

As I said, one or two flashes of what he can do (the Man City and Man Utd goals were exactly what I had in mind).

Am I complaining about him? Did I say he was awful? I've just said that I have been disappointed in what he has produced so far and I don't think his performances have been very good. I watched him while he was in Holland and for his national team and I know what he can do but all i'm saying is so far his performances in a Spurs shirt haven't been great.

Yes he is young, yes he has joined a new team, yes he moved to a new country and yes he has had injuries but my opinion of him being pretty poor still stands. Thise things may very well be reasons why his performances haven't been great but they don't negate the fact. He is a very exciting prospect and I'm sure he will have a great future with us but for now I can only comment on the actual performances he has put in and as I say he has shown one or two glimpes of what he can do but overall I don't feel his performances have been very good.

Good stuff, there are a lot of fans being too negative about him tho and expecting too much too soon.

Saw plenty last season to say he is good now. In the 2 games he has played so far THIS season, he has started slowly and off the pace. Theres no doubt at all it's just match sharpness. Theres a 10 + goals.a season from midfield player there.

He was poor in a couple of games last season too, particularly Bournemouth away where he got to play as a 10 more or less. He needs to do a bit more in games than he's doing at the moment.

His best game of the season. Great in confidence and his corner for Lucas was lovely, but his dribble and pass for the Harry hatrick was sublime. His shots were not those of a confident man but he finished there game strongly.

Yes it was weaker opposition but Bergy with a very impressive 90 minutes tonight, unlucky to not score, brilliant movement, a few good shots forcing saves and fantastic skill and footwork and assist on the 6th goal, the boy is a talent he's 22, give him time.

Cannot believe some people a few pages back on here doubting him. A few of us said we would like to see a little more from him sure but that was always going to come with more games and confidence and momentum just like tonight but to be virtually writing off a player who is 22 and has come to a new league and country and scored against man.city and man.u already is just mind boggling, a little patcience and perspective please or just some football understanding to see a good player when we have one.

Again credit where it is due this looks like another very astute signing at a good price.
