I have been this guys biggest critic...somehow he has turned it around and been a key player in the last few games.

I'm holding back on the superlatives on this one.

He's shown before he can put in a blinder one game and next maraud around like a fucking blue arse fly getting turned inside out.

Consistency is what I want to see from him - if he can find that under Jose, then I'll be more than happy.
Yea....

Liability in many ways but still better than anyone who isn't Alli or Son ( and maybe Toby and Davies) since Mourinho joined. Like Son he will need to be rotated eventually, we can't expect him to start every game.

Wasn’t one of our top ten problems today. As Mozart always said - Haters gonna hate.

I couldn't disagree more. Him constantly being done down the right meant Sissoko had to effectively play as a 2nd right back, meaning Winks was completely outnumbered in the middle. His distribution of the ball was poor and bar maybe 1 decent cross, he wasted everything else.

No agenda, he's just shit. It exacerbates it when he and Sissoko are having the same sort of performance, it's like watching the chuckle brothers.

Is he ever switched on? The first goal Rashford walks past him into the area.

Sell him to anyone stupid enough to buy him

Amazed that people within the club picked Trippier as the one to sacrifice.

Not too sure if anyone is stupid enough to buy him, which could be a problem.

Lol, this forum has just turnt into non stop knee jerking. He gets an assist v Burnley and it'll be all sunshine again. Should almost ban posts within an hour of the game on these player threads.

Aurier has some good games and quite a few bad and there in lies the rub. He is not consistent in any shape or form. Consistency is one of the most important traits for a defender. I do not think he will be around for long but right now he is what we have and so its hard to get too annoyed when he has bad games as its become par for the course

He has his strong points, but he stood and watched as Rashford ran off him and scored the first goal, then switched off again for the penalty incident. It's all just a bit basic.

We really really really need a new RB. Whenever Aurier or Trippier (when he was here) played they got babysit by one of the midfielders which means our midfield is getting even more exposed. Aurier is not good attacking wise for us to play like this, okay if we had a RB like Atal

Just look at this, the midfield was nonexistent

He was poor defensively but the attackers should have done better with his crosses however that would require them to actually vary their movement in the box and attack the near post.

The attackers love the back post and very rarely position themselves differently. It's a problem this team has had for many years, across several managers.

I hope he doesn't play the next few games, most of the team needs to be rotated against Burnley.

Might as well face it, like a lot of the squad, he is average, he does some good and some bad and that's it.

Another horses for courses player.
