It’s not spam, it’s just that you’re an embarrassingly shit judge of goalkeeper. Be proud of your ability to know so little about goalkeepers though, it’s quite the achievement.
I honestly think Hugo with one arm in a sling would better.

I know players can ‘improve’ but what I don’t understand is how the club from a playing perspective have players whom are deemed to be no more than squad players/training partners and all of a sudden due to an injury or outgoing transfer they’re promoted to the 1st team, and we’re expected to believe it’s because they’re the real deal and not out of desperation, often due to failings in our transfer department.

Previous ITK:

Gazzaniga - brought in as a 3rd choice keeper, he’ll never play and he’s not good enough to be 2nd choice. Fast forward 12 months and he’s replaced Vorm as our number 2 and now due to Lloris’ injury he’s doing his best to aide our fall from grace. After a run of games his frailties have been exposed... poor decision making, absolutely woeful at low close shots, kicking is all over the shop.

Trippier - brought in as a squad player, Walker leaves, we don’t replace him and all of a sudden Trippier is our new star right back. Yes he had some good games but last season he was a train wreck and he killed our style of football eg swapped a strong and rapid full back for weak sloth whom runs in cement.

KWP - never been good enough yet Trippier leaves, KWP gets promoted to the 1st team squad yet after a couple of outings Poch deems he’s out of his depth and drops him again.

Sissoko - we lose our dominating midfielder in Dembele and move Sissoko into the middle despite him being awful at both passing and randomly going walkabout.

Let’s not forget about our contract rebels:

Rose and Eriksen - Eriksen, once club hero then decides he wants to leave and proceeds to put in 12 months of horrendous performances. He was decent against Norwich barring his set pieces before returning to utter dross today. Whereas Rose was told he could leave and was frozen out yet he started the season for us and was an expected piss poor. Why do we keep involving these players when they’ve been utter shite for a year, it’s having a massive negative impact on the 1st team.

His one v ones is attroucious. The pen v Chelsea, Pukki offside goal, Ings goal and today's goal. Not saying he should have saved them but come on make it a little bit difficult for the opposition

I thought he was good enough bur he just isnt.

Kicking is much much better than Lloris

Maybe but who is better than both gazzaniga and Lloris?
Ederson
De Gea
Becker
Schmeichel
?

I honestly don’t know. I do know that Lloris is ageing and has been somewhat overtaken in terms of his style of goalkeeping. We’ve also seen since Lloris has been out injured that his understudy probably isn’t good enough.

Ergo, we need a goalkeeper.

You missed Leno off your list btw, which amounts to 1/4 of the GKs in the league being better than our options.

Thought this article on BBC about expected goals was quite interesting, don't think it's been shared yet. Know it's not everyone's favourite stat but really highlights the difference between our keepers. (Not that anyone should need stats for that)

And he also did an overhead clearance. Just wish he would make it harder for opposition to score against him

I wish the defence and midfield would win/keep the ball but we can't have everything we want.

Feels like we have so many other gaps in the squad that need fixing first.

Lloris and Gazza will probably have to do for next season.

TBF though if we had a proper DM and better defenders they'd have a lot less work to do compared to the shit show they have in-front of them now.

He's definitely a team player and that attitude is a great attribute for a number 2 keeper. Could never question his commitment or how much he cares.

I know there’s been question marks over him at times but I don’t think you could ask more of your number 2 keeper. Anyone better isn’t going to spend most of their time on the bench.

I don't get the hate. We know Lloris is better and he is a back up yet people constantly bring up his deficiencies. I'd say he's a better back up than Vorm who also had his issues and unless one of the academy keepers is ready to step up I'd be more than happy to keep him in.
