He kind of played as a tucked in right back, basically man marked Mane. Aurier played ahead of him as a wingback. Then later on when subs were made went over and filled in at left back.

He was too agressive on their goal, but you can't blame him for it. He was brilliant considering he played against one of the best players in the world at the moment. Mane had a pretty quiet game and it was thanks to Japhet. Well played son.


Let him play from now on, even if he makes a mistake or two. It's obvious that he is a talented player. And I loved his interview after the game. He seems to be a down to earth lad with a great attitude.
