I've noticed on social media, that since his debut and after yesterday the feedback has been unanimously positive from all fans. I've read positive things from Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Liverpool fans which doesn't usually happen, which stands him in good stead. Will be good to see how he manages the inevitable rough patch.

Also, has anyone found an individual highlights vid of yesterday?

Balls to the wall lineup next year which would be uber fun and probably incredibly terrifying:

-------- Tanganga --- Toby --- Sanchez ----------
- Aarons -- Ndombele - Lo Celso -- Sessegnon -
--- Bergwijn --------- Kane ----------- Son -----

Weeeeeeeee!

I reckon he could do a job at DM. He's athletic, very quick, incredibly strong and can carry the ball (from what we've seen anyway).

Would be interesting to see if he could adapt to it. Him, if effective in front of a back 2 of Toby and Sanchez would be pretty fucking robust.

Was thinking the same thing

When Davies is fit again he walks back in at LB so where does that leave JT?

We've already seen his ability at sensing danger which is vital for a DM. He's got good pace and mobility and likes a tackle

Can’t see him doing the job on the right hand side that Jose wants Serge to do atm and I wouldn’t want him to replace Toby or Davidson. But I don’t remember any examples of Jose converting players like that. Maybe in his early days at Porto. I’m sure since his early Chelski days he’s just played/bought round pegs for round holes

We've seen his ability to play in numerous positions so maybe he'll just cover an injury or those that need a rest or he’ll warm the bench

Tricky one because he’s had a fantastic start to his career and although it’s still incredibly early in his career Jose would still like to get him in his starting XI

When Davies is fit he’ll play every week under Jose. Perfect for him. You'll need to rejig that lineup

Hope I’m wrong though...

Lloris' cock up which led to Gündogan's much worse and funnier cock up in front of an open goal was all down to Tanganga's pace. Hugo just isn't used to having defenders who can out-pace the Sterling's of this world on a through ball, so he came storming out.

He'll get used to it.

He plays like Ledley King
He didn't cost a thing

Sure the Park Lane can manage that one.

Reminds me of a young William Gallas.

Think talk of making the squad for the Euros is a bit premature unless he nails down a place in central defence for us. He's not going to get in as full back cover as we have too much quality there and the other central defenders in the squad are nailed down starters for their respective clubs.

Not really - the last England squad had John Stones and Tomori in it and neither of those are regular starters at the moment. It's the same for Michael Keane who was in the previous squad. Gomez will probably come in for one of them alongside Mings and Maguire, but the other spot could be up for grabs as Southgate likes players that are playing. I'm probably missing someone obvious, but I can't think of many England left backs apart from Rose, Shaw and Chilwell?
Like you say it's a bit premature to talk about him going, but he could be a decent outside bet if he keeps proving himself.

I hope he doesn't make Euro's, just think it'd be better for him in the long term to enjoy 6 months in the team with us, have the summer and come back hungry for pre-season. If he goes Euro's I feel like there's a risk of burnout which I feel we've seen amongst our ranks with players who were in the England squad for a tournament off the back of their first full season in the prem.
