What's annoying me is how easily people are throwing United forward as the 'top candidates'. Why would he risk potentially playing Europa League football for the next 2 plus years? And I know that could very well end up being the case here but I mean if he is looking to secure a big money move it would be to a club who has more of a chance of playing at the highest level every season.

United fans back to their 'let's just click our fingers and get him' mentality just because Bruno Fernandes had them playing good football for a few games. All these pundits should be asking why he'd even want to move there not whether United should buy him or not.

I don't know about that... he's always been consistent about wanting to stay as long as Spurs continue to progress and match his ambitions. His remarks haven't changed over the years but perhaps the fortunes/ambitions of Spurs have, and now we are further away from winning trophies than we were before. Reporters and pundits like Redknapp are always going to be asking the same question to generate headlines, so let's not get our knickers twisted over it.
Think we will see one more season from Kane before he leaves for the big time which at his age he needs to do.
Our club is some way off winning trophies in the near future and maybe beyond there is the possibility that 1/2 others will also leave for the same reason.

As England captain I’m slightly disappointed how low key he’s been in all this. It seems other players like Henderson and Maguire have taken the lead.

As long he's doing something I don't mind if it's low key, if you're shouting about how much you're helping out then I question whether you're doing it for those in need or to give yourself good publicity.

If it turns out Harry has done buggar all then I'd be massively disappointed and surprised in him.

mate are you on crack? We should be putting up a statue of Kane for doing fuck all? Why has no one called this post out it's ridiculous

It's not even who he is it's what he represents. Football should be all about players coming through the youth ranks and achieving their dreams. Kane represents everything that is right with the game and him leaving would represent everything wrong with it (for me).

I lived in Manchester my whole life and Utd fans think they are back up there again, they are fucking 5th!

I’m sure he’s done something behind the scenes. But as said as England captain I think he should have been more vocal.

Maybe he is doing something but doesn’t want his name thrown around in the media?

When watching and supporting spurs there have been many times I thought my football dreams and world would come tumbling down with either a player leaving or even losing their life Eddie Baily / Dave Mackay / greaves / White / Knowles / Hoddle / Waddle / Sherringham /Bale
Guess what ? we are still going and supporting and many of the great and good have left the club or departed this world but somehow the club endures . I always think when one door closes another one opens and as much as I would prefer Kane to be a one club man if he does go we will overcome the problem.

Of course we will overcome it because we might get 150m for him then spend half that rebuilding the team, with the other half going towards the stadium job done.?

that same youth player is publicly saying he's willing to abandon the club, so how in the world does he represent that idea?

Kane is class but I think if Madrid are going to throw big money at a striker, I’d imagine Mbappe will be the first one they look at.

If you told me both were the same price I'd go for Mbappe, age & injury history obviously weighing in Mbappes favor.

I'm amazed the Spanish journalists took this long to run with the comments and attach Madrid's name to them in some way. Their bullshit abilities must be on the wane. Saying that Real Madrid would be mad not to want him, just like any club in the world.

I think Real specifically might be a bit wary. Buying a player that already has some injury history and having to deal with Levy again?
