It's time for SC Medical Diagnosis!!! Where's one of our resident medical experts to tell us what this means in terms of Harry's recovery? Is this about normal, and we should still expect him back mid April. Or does this look like he is ahead of schedule??

Looks ahead to me. Less than a month since supposed “ major” operation. My guess is bench late March maybe West Ham.

I think the surgery had to have been more precautionary than anything. It seems everyone in the media has just assumed as he had surgery he therefore completely ruptured the tendon/ripped it off the bone, hence all the talk about missing Euro's etc...

I doubt the Euros was ever in doubt. I have a feeling he'll be back training next month and playing in April (by the NLD at the latest), barring any setbacks. I'm sure they'll be cautious with it as hamstring injuries are quite high risk of reoccurence.

If we can get him back fit and firing for April/May we may well make something of this season yet.

Call me an optimist, but I don't think he'd be going full Rocky montage unless he was a bit closer to playing again than predicted.

Or, he could be really connected to his fans, and gets energy from their encouragement. As lord knows, going through the recovery paces can be very lonely.

Looks very slim in that picture. Much rather he took his time and was really sure of his recovery instead of rushing back for a particular game.

Not sure you're right there, I doubt we'd be fourth right now. Since Kane got injured late on against Southampton we have played Liverpool, Watford, Norwich & Man City. 2 wins, a draw and a loss. Our record isn't hugely different to our form prior to him getting injured.

I can’t see them rushing him on a hamstring they handled Toby and Sessegnon very cautiously. It’s not really like his ankle issues, that’s probably something you can play through some pain but you wouldn’t do that with a hamstring.

Absolutely. Fuck this season off if it means he’s rushing back at any point during in it. Longevity is the key here

He is looking slimmer. That’s a positive imo.

Harry does seem to heal up quicker than most, but he always takes a good month after that to look match fit. It's a hamstring injury too, which I'm always a bit wary of. Essentially, I'd not be happy to see him rushed back especially as he will push himself to play more than someone coming back from an injury normally would.

I think this type of injury really needs kid gloves approach. But with Euro 2020 this summer, and with England’s games predominantly at Wembley, I think there is no way Kane, as England captain, will even consider not racing to get back ASAP. Just hope he fully heals in time, as a recurrence will probably see him miss half of next season.
