Ever played football before mate? It was a first time cross on the volley into the danger area, what could Lo Celso do?
I’ve coached to a good level and I thought Lo Celso could have been slightly sharper to a telegraphed cross-field pass - he hadn’t been on the pitch for that long. But there was nothing you could have done about the cross. Very good from Digne!

Reminds me a little of Lamela. Has the same grit, the same fight. Is silky on the ball and can spot a pass. Drifts out wide, especially to the right. The similarities are there.

I adore Lamela's panache, so Lo Celso looks like he might be right up my street after what he showed us today.

His stats were top notch. Absolute player!
Although I'd also like to say that Alli's stats were pretty good too, considering some of the stick he was getting in the match thread.

He’s gonna be some player for us. Ndombele and him will be lauded as two of the best midfielders in the game very soon. We have done some great business. I sincerely hope that not qualifying for the CL isn’t a deal breaker in terms of his loan/signing situation. If anyone could clarify that it would be great because we NEED to keep this fella.
