He joined on 16th September, he should be fit by now. I’m Bales biggest fan, now is the time for him to prove that Zidane was all wrong

I'm questioning your credentials not only as Bale's biggest fan but also as physio

It's posts like these that sum up just how ridiculous some people's attitude is. Let's get a fucking grip. The same people who don't even pay enough attention to realise that he was injured when he joined us also expect the rest of us to believe them when they pass their verdict on how well/poorly he's doing. Beggars belief.

I guess having preseason games is just a waste of time on that methodology. Let’s just have 3 weeks warm up before the start of the season as it only takes that long to get up to speed. The guy has had hardly any competitive games since June, got an injury with Wales and you want him to be at the same level as our squad...obviously you do not know how the human body works when fitness is concerned. Let the dude get minutes under his belt for gods sake.

Fuck Madrid. They should have cryogenically frozen Bale after Zidane decided he was toilet. They missed a trick.

That should do wonders for his confidence. Genuinely had emotional moment watching him celebrate that goal.

No we were 1st the season we finished 4th for the first time under Harry, for like the 2nd and 3rd week
Agreed, but he’d not been in a winning team at that point. He got brought on against Burnley for that reason.

That goal will be a huge confidence booster for Gareth and the whole squad. Bale's off the mark and we saw out the 3 points at home finally.

Gareth's definitely getting there. His movement was much better today compared to west ham. Hopefully he bags again on Thursday.

From Mourinho presser:

That's it. He will start again on Thursday and even in a Europa League match when the intensity is different to the Premier League I will not play him for 90 minutes. I always will have this care with him until we feel that he's ready.
