You can almost guarantee he will spout more shit about the club after he leaves.

Definitely rates his own opinions too highly, and loves running to a journo to get them out there.

I want him gone, we don’t need people like him around the club. He has done so much to ruin our club spirit. You could even argue that his rant to the media was a big turning point in our decline under Poch.

Everything that Poch team stood for lost something the day he did that.

So you think it's cool not putting in any effort when on the pitch despite earning in a week what takes people 2 or 3 years to earn . Fair enough that's you
My heart bleeds for the fuck
That's not what I said and it's self-evidently NOT what Eriksen does - or his last two managers would not have played him.

He has been professional enough to keep his fitness at peak levels unlike some of our "snipers" who got Poch sacked. He never complained. He never downed tools. He was honest about what he wanted.

Under those circumstances its ridiculous to expect him to risk major injury playing for a team he's leaving. It's risking his entire future. For that reason alone he shouldn't be on the pitch for us. Yet - despite this, Poch played him and Mourinho plays him. Why? Because he's a) talented and b) more professional than the fuck stains who complained about Pochettino making them get fit.

Your anger is misplaced. Eriksen never promised you anything he didn't give. Direct your anger at those who wanted to stay and get new contracts but at fitness levels that would embarrass a league 1 side.

It was totally unnecessary for Eriksen to go public in the summer about his intensions to leave the club, he should of kept quiet and waited for his move. It was obvious walker wanted to leave the club, but not once did he make a public statement. The problem is when you go public and don't get your move you better make damn sure your performances are up to scratch as the fans will quickly turn on you.

He made his position clear long before this summer.

You are blaming Eriksen for a contract situation entirely NOT of his making. The club knew he was off YEARS ago.

The Walker comparison is apt. Walker got his fucking move months after asking for it. Isn't that obvious?

Don't care enough to be angry I'm afraid

Poch didn't have a leg to stand on after his book though. Such a poor decision.

Think if he doesn't go in January we should just release him.

Better that than have him running his mouth every time someone looks at him funny.

Although that's probably what he wants TBF.

That knee injury he got at Sunderland away 16/17 really derailed him imo. Who knows how good he’d be or even where he’d be had he not missed the last few months of that season

So, we've heard Watford, Bournemouth, Newcastle, and the 3 other "unnamed clubs." It'll be interesting to see Levy's approach on this one as he is a complete turd in the punch bowl at Spurs right now.

Could someone enlighten me as to what Rose has said recently that has caused such ire . I know about the old outburst , but somehow
combing thru threads, I haven't found the new .

There was an "unnamed source/senior player" report through The Sun (Same place Rose made some disparaging comments in the past) indicating the senior players felt Mourinho's training sessions were dated/players were unhappy, etc. It's widely believed that unnamed player was Rose.

Poch didn't have a leg to stand on after his book though. Such a poor decision.

A manager bringing out a book whilst still in job they are in NEVER works. It needs to stay behind closed doors.

See also Hoddle and Capello.

We started going downhill after that as was end of that awesome 2016/17 season and performances started dipping and we were scrapping results.

Credit to Poch we still finished in champions league spot twice but things were never quite the same and that second half of 2016/17 was the peak.

If he rejects any move, I hope there's something Levy will do to buy out the remainder of his contract and cut bait. Obviously, that's unlikely.

I think the time for him to go is now, Jose has made this abundantly clear, he has picked a centre back, a winger and a youth team CB ahead of him.

Though I fear he may dig his heels in and see out his contract, could become a real problem.

Spurs will be desperate to get rid of him this window.

No bids were received for Eriksen in the summer

He'll be 31 by the time his contract expires and he's been going rapidly downhill for the last 2 seasons. I not sure who he thinks he's going to sign for in 18 months at the age of 31 in his current form.

Sad that we are coming to the end of Danny's time with us and talking about him like this. I think he's constantly given his all for the team. Made some stupid mistakes talking to the press and that's cost him his reputation amongst most fans.
